  • Room With A View - And a Location With Many Options

"Fantastic property on desirable Vanderbilt Beach with stunning views from the 11th floor of the Gulf and Naples City views to the North and South. We had to stop ourselves from taking sunset photos every night, they all are as fantastic as day(s) before! Watch the parade of boats coming in and out of the inter-coastal waterway (ICW) from the building's swimming pool or bocce ball court. We had routine sightings of dolphins in the ICW from the pool and out in the Gulf from the beach. I took advantage of the ICW and rented a stand up paddleboard (SUP) for our stay, dropping it in daily and taking self-guided tours of the ICW. We enjoyed taking advantage of beach access just across Gulf Shore Drive and walking to the Ritz Carlton for lunch at Gumbo Limbos (once a week). We also enjoyed nature excursions from here to Corkscrew Swamp and Ding Darling Sanctuary on Sanibel Island. It is also very close to the Mercato Center for other fun dinner, shopping and entertainment options. It was only a short drive to downtown Naples for 5th Avenue dining options. We found the condo interior exceeded our expectations from the photos viewed on-line and clearly made our time here that much more comfortable and we were easily able to entertain another couple for a long weekend with plenty of room for all. Owners made it all so easy and I would not hesitate to book this again soon."

  • Good value and somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars overall

"It is tough for me to give a rating for this house, so I'll break it down into the components. I personally struggle with the previous 5 star reviews, as I don't think this is a 5 star property compared to other properties I've rented in Naples. Owner: 5 stars. Paige is extremely responsive, very helpful and just a pleasure to work with. If you haven't rented a house before, you may not know how important this is. Supplies in the house: 5 stars. Paige really has thought of everything from providing a cooler for beach picnics, to bikes, to well stocked toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, to towels by the pool, to towels for the beach, etc. Again, if you've never rented a house before, you may not appreciate how much stocking up one needs to do (e.g., food and drinks and supplies) once you arrive, and it was so much easier with this house. Location: 4 stars. The neighborhood is unremarkable, but the house is in close proximity to the beach. Easy walk to the Ritz Carlton for a cocktail by the beach (about 15 minutes walk), easy walk to the public beach and also very close to key amenities (e.g., Whole Foods, Publix, Mercato Shopping Center, chain restaurants, etc). The house itself: 3 stars. The house is very clean and the appliances appear to be brand new (e.g., refridgerator, washer/dryer). The house is a small, one story cottage and it's pretty dark inside, even on a bright day in Florida. There are 4 bedrooms and you could easily fit a family of 5 in here and everyone could have their own space. The beds themselves are just okay -- pretty basic and a little bit creaky and uncomfortable with more than 1 person. If you are looking for creature comforts, you may not be happy with this. I think one's own personal rating of this house will come down to what's important to them in a rental."

  • Awesome!

"We had a fantastic week in Naples at this property! This place is everything you could want and more. It definitely exceeded our expectations. The owner has provided lots of amenities--beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, charcoal BBQ, beach/pool towels and more. The pool is awesome (and nicely heated!) with lots of outdoor patio space. We loved that the house is close to shopping and restaurants on 41, but secluded enough to be super quiet. Vanderbilt beach is close (but kind of crowded while we were there) so we drove the 15/20 minutes to the Naples Pier beach area. Most importantly, the house is immaculate--super clean and comfortable. We will definitely return."
