"It is tough for me to give a rating for this house, so I'll break it down into the components. I personally struggle with the previous 5 star reviews, as I don't think this is a 5 star property compared to other properties I've rented in Naples.
Owner: 5 stars. Paige is extremely responsive, very helpful and just a pleasure to work with. If you haven't rented a house before, you may not know how important this is.
Supplies in the house: 5 stars. Paige really has thought of everything from providing a cooler for beach picnics, to bikes, to well stocked toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, to towels by the pool, to towels for the beach, etc. Again, if you've never rented a house before, you may not appreciate how much stocking up one needs to do (e.g., food and drinks and supplies) once you arrive, and it was so much easier with this house.
Location: 4 stars. The neighborhood is unremarkable, but the house is in close proximity to the beach. Easy walk to the Ritz Carlton for a cocktail by the beach (about 15 minutes walk), easy walk to the public beach and also very close to key amenities (e.g., Whole Foods, Publix, Mercato Shopping Center, chain restaurants, etc).
The house itself: 3 stars. The house is very clean and the appliances appear to be brand new (e.g., refridgerator, washer/dryer). The house is a small, one story cottage and it's pretty dark inside, even on a bright day in Florida. There are 4 bedrooms and you could easily fit a family of 5 in here and everyone could have their own space. The beds themselves are just okay -- pretty basic and a little bit creaky and uncomfortable with more than 1 person. If you are looking for creature comforts, you may not be happy with this.
I think one's own personal rating of this house will come down to what's important to them in a rental."
