  • Restful and Relaxing

"This lovely condo was way beyond my expectations with absolutely gorgeous views (water and wildlife). It provided all the amenities: huge pool right beside the water with a lovely clubhouse: pool and ping pong tables, loads of books to borrow. etc.), screened lanai with a total water view, lovely furnishings, and close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. I picked the perfect place for a totally restful, refreshing month in Florida"

  • Loved the House

"We were visiting from Maryland for my son's wedding. The house had everything we could have asked for and more. Clean, well organized, nice modern appliances and comfortable furniture. Layout of the house is perfect for entertaining including a refrigerator out on the lanai for keeping drinks cold. Pool is heated, which was great for swimming in the evenings and early mornings. House description says two burners on grill are broken but they must of been repaired because the were all working during our stay. House is located within 10 minutes of grocery stores, which made it very convenient to run to the store. Quiet neighborhood, lots of room for our dinner guests to park. Thirty to forty-five minutes to most beaches. The caretaker of the house lives on the street and came over and met us when we arrived. He was great and was immediately available when we called him. Slight issues: - Internet did not work, which was repaired immediately after making a call to the caretaker of the house. - The house is listed "For Sale" so we did have one realtor show up at the house with people unannounced and one call the house phone wanting to show it. I would recommend that you put a note on the door saying "house being rented this week, do not enter" because they have a lock box and can come in without your knowledge. Would I recommend this house to someone else - YES. If it doesn't sell, I would definitely be interested in renting it for next year's vacation."

  • Private, spacious and comfortable with a lovely view!

"My husband and I returned to "Blue Waters" for the month of April, having enjoyed a 2 week stay a few years back. There is much to love about this home: the feeling of understated luxury and peacefulness that pervades, the many features and conveniences that enrich your stay, and the sense of seclusion. The large property is located on the end of a cul-de-sac with a pie shaped lot and lots of waterfront, and a wide view of a large canal intersection that feels like a lake. It is a quiet neighbourhood and feels very private, even the pool/patio area overlooking the water. Don't be deceived by the street view. From the curb this appears to be a sturdy yet basic bungalow - Step inside and experience the hidden gem. The open concept living area, upgraded kitchen, deluxe furnishings and Florida/Island designer style creates a perfect home-away-from-home ambience. One of the reasons we love this house is the fabulously equipped kitchen. Good quality tools for prep, cooking and serving in style. This home operates on a "pay it forward" principal whereby the occupants and housekeepers leave the staples for the next person. Guests top up the inventory as needed, as you normally would at home when you run out of something. A very economical arrangement. Take a half hour to review kitchen contents when you arrive. The inventory of seasonings and staples was impressive both times we arrived. If rest and sleep are important to you, this home will not disappoint. The beds and bedding are top quality, "super comfy" as promised. We slept late every day, and spent a lot of time relaxing on the wonderful teak lounges beside the pool. There are 3 additional outdoor areas for lounging in sun and shade. The rustling of the wind in the palm trees might put you to sleep so beware getting sunburn! Our daughter, son-in law and 2 grandsons (aged 3 and 5) joined us for 10 days. Amazingly, the relaxation continued. The adults swam, lounged and played board games while watching over the boys playing in the pool. The pool is in a secure lanai enclosure, and wonderfully shaded in the morning and late afternoon. There were lots of indoor amusements as well. We did several great day trips. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. All in all an awesome experience. We hated to leave!"

  • Great setup and well outfitted.

"Recently spent three months in this rental while relocating and looking for new house. This house is well equipped, very organized, has a great lanai and pool area and is very close to restaurants and retail stores yet home is in a very private setting. Also enjoyed the wildlife from the lanai. Owner takes great care of this rental and pool and is completely non intrusive. I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a two bedroom in the Port Charlotte - North Port area."
