  • affordable paradise

"This was the first time we had ever rented a property and after such a positive experience it will not be our last. Dale and Julie answered any questions we had very promptly. Coquina Cove was perfect. The house was very beachy and clean and everything we needed was there. It was great having the canal for fishing ( we did catch fish) and then hanging at the beach. We saw the gopher tortoises and were surprised at how big they were. The beach was fantastic. There were amazing shells everywhere including sharks teeth. We saw fish ,crabs, shrimp, birds, and even a stingray. We saw dolphins on three separate days and they were actually very close in to us. It was perfect. We would definitely recommend Coquina Cove as it was truly an affordable paradise."

  • Changes In Attitudes---the name fits!

"My family enjoyed a relaxing week at 'CIA' and quickly settled into "Island Time." We arrived to find a well-maintained kitchen with plenty of utensils and appliances. Our two kids, along with our guest's son all enjoyed time on the wraparound screen porch. The split bedroom floorplan allowed the kids to have their own space. Island Time for us meant the mornings were spent on the rear porch over breakfast as the sun rose over Bocilla Lagoon. We spent the balance of the day at the beach, collecting the bountiful sharks teeth and shells, and attending the daily sunset over the Gulf. We had a *very* close encounter with one of the many docile manatees that was a treat for the kids. Unfortunately, even though "Island Time" is supposed to move at a slower pace, our week was over far too quickly. We plan to return to "CIA in this special part of the state next year. The owner was easy to work with. We found her accessible when any questions arose before and during our visit. The kids even said it might be the "best" beach getaway we've had as a family. We *all* highly recommend Changes In Attitudes."

  • Highly Recommend Incommunicado!

"We just enjoyed the best 2 week vacation at this incredibly comfortable beach house! We felt quite at home thanks to all the thoughtful touches. The house was very well equipped for all our needs. The weather was great, the beach practically empty except for plenty of shark's teeth plus lots of wildlife sightings on our golf cart rides through the island. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their piece of paradise!"

  • February/March at Fiddlers Green

"Anne and I had a most wonderful time during our February/March stay at Fiddlers Green. The condo was spacious and bright, and with the enclosed liana, had plenty of room for guests and friends to visit. The liana facing the north/east, overlooks the Preserve, and is very comfortable to sit and relax in at any time during the day......to read or listen to the plethora of wild-life close by. The kitchen was well outfitted with sufficient equipment and settings to prepare and serve dinner for eight. The Fiddlers Green complex is well looked after and friendly. Just about everyone says "hello" and will stop and chat when one is out for a walk. Within the first days of our arrival we were welcomed by one of the owners, who briefed us on the amenities, activities and events of the complex.....a nice touch We took advantage of many of these to meet and enjoy the other owners/renters who were also staying there (eg: Saturday coffee; Sunday cocktails; Mens, Ladies and Couples Golf; Tennis; Aqua fit; Crafts; Valentine's and St Patrick Days Parties: to name a few) During our time there we met and became friendy with quite a few with whom we will likely stay in touch. There are plenty of local restaurants within a few miles and all serve reasonably priced meals. Beaches were 10 - 15 minutes away and are great for walking and sunbathing, but a little cold for swimming until late in March. However the complex pool, at a constant 85 deg F, is a more than adequate swimming alternative. Thank you Bill for providing your condo, it was very comfortable. While we were disappointed to learn of your intention to sell, we would certainly recommend the property to friends and family.......and would return in a heartbeat. Best Regards Mike & Anne Moorcroft"
