  • This house will make you feel like royalty

"This house is almost too good to be true. The immense coconut palmtrees along the driveway welcome you to a gorgeous renovated plantation house. It's location on Pine Island is perfect if you are looking for a quiet environment, yet not too far away from a restaurant/bar or marina. The 4-year renovation of this old plantation house has certainly paid off. It is very spacious, has all the luxuries you could ever need, even an office! We would like to compliment the owner on the incredible tasteful 'all-in-country-style' decorations all over the house. And one could only dream of having a walk-in closet or walk-in shower like the ones in this house. Since it was only the two of us, we did not use every room. But how wonderful it would be if we could once stay here with friends! One bedroom and bathroom downstairs and one bedroom and bathroom upstairs gives all the privacy you could want and still be in one house. There are so many chairs/benches/sofa's in and around the house (front-, back and upstairs porch) that it was impossible to sit on all of them. One could literally sit anywhere! And in style too. We sincerely thank the owners for putting up a christmas tree for the holidays. We felt so welcome after a long journey! There's a marina, with bar/restaurant within walking distance (5 min) and one a little further away (20 min walk). And Matlacha, with all the shops, restaurants and boat tours is just a short drive (15 min) away. It's a 40 min drive to Fort Myers and 75 min to Naples. So plenty to do. We recommend the Botanic Gardens in Naples and the Flea Market in Ft Myers. And if you're in for some nature: head to the Corkscrew Sanctuary and watch the wildlife and oldest cypresses in Florida. There is absolutely nothing that this house doesn't have. If you are looking for a spacious place to stay with good friends or maybe celebrate your honeymoon here, you have come to the right place. This place will make you feel like royalty."

  • Beautiful views; convenient boat dock

"We stayed a month in this lovely condo. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the condo. Parking is underneath the unit, so there are stairs to the second story unit, and more stairs to floor with bedrooms and washing machine. Each condo is allocated two parking slots so boat trailer may be stored there. No other trailer parking available. Can park boat on trailer on crushed stone road in front of condo until boat can be launched. No turnaround so it is tricky turning around to go to ramp. Kitchen is well equipped and it soon felt like home. Very few people in the complex in September. Very convenient getting gas & ice for the boat from Four Winds Marina. Easy boat access to surrounding waters for fishing and beaching on Cayo Costa. Only used pool a couple of times; it is well maintained and enjoyable and a short walk from condo. While boat dock is very conveniently located behind the condo,, it does not have a boat lift so our boat did accumulate lots of barnacles and algae in the month we stayed. Wi-fi in unit and flat screen tvs. We would recommend this condo."

  • Comfortable and clean. It is exactly as described in VRBO.

"We enjoyed our stay in this house at the Alden Pines golf community. It is quiet and safe. We enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai. Mike was always available when we needed information. We will stay here again!"

  • Relaxing and peaceful retreat for March,2016

"We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered our house was off the main road in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very private-no noise at all so we could leave our windows open at night and not hear the sound of cars. The queen size bed was in its own room, a handy kitchen and washer-dryer right there so we did not have to go outside to do the laundry. Large refrigerator and stove-everything we needed to cook. Bonus to the house was the cable TV which had Netflix-that is all we watched! There was also a radio,VHS and cassette player with lots of cassettes. It was a great place to come back to after a day in Ft.Myers or Cape Coral and have a quiet place. The public pool on Pine Island is great-salt water and heated. Only $2.00 for seniors and $4.00 for others.I forgot to mention that there are 2 white peacocks on the property-It was exciting to see them! I would recommend this place to couples although there was a pull-out sofa in the living room."
