  • Funky relaxing getaway.

"Matlacha is where you can really leave your troubles behind. This property (at least the Tarpon Suite where we stayed), provides water views from the bedroom and dining area. It's small, but has everything you need for a stay, including a complete kitchen set-up, and washer and dryer which are shared by the 4 cottages. Bikes available for free (its a biking area for sure) and kayaks available for modest rental fee. If you are looking for luxurious digs and fancy decor, this is not for you. But if you like a clean relaxed compact place for a stay, its definitely worth checking out. Oh, and the free wireless is pretty fast, so if you have a device for watching Netflix, you won't mind that the tv doesn't have cable (but I hear its coming). You can walk to some great restaurants, shops, and the local bar has a pool table. We'll be back!"

  • Perfect family vacation

"We were looking for a house that could accommodate our family of 5, our dog, and had a spot to bring our boat. This house was perfect! The kitchen was new and stocked with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and the view was spectacular. In addition, there were several family owned restaurants, a playground, and boat ramp - all within walking distance! When we wanted to venture out further, it was an easy day trip to Sanibel and dinner at the Trapon Lodge was a special treat. We will be back!!"

  • Wonderful Time

"We had a great stay, the home very modern and updated. Lots of toys and things to do. Having our boat at the back door and a short ride to great fishing made this a wonderful vacation. We enjoyed all the shops in Matlacha and had fun at Burt's. I would encourage anyone considering going to Matlacha to stay at this lovely home."

  • Great house!!

"This is a fantastic property. I wish we could stay another week. The house worked great for us and the location made things easy and enjoyable. Matlacha is just starting to get busy as we are leaving so we had a very peaceful week. The Pass and flats areas offer some great fishing. You might want to get a guide for the first day so you get some ideas of where to go. There is pretty easy access to plenty of attractions. We especially liked The Yacht Club Community Park out on Redfish Point. It is only a 25 minute drive and has a nice beach, playground, restuarant, bar, and fishing pier. It is also one of the things you can do that is actually free. Jason was great to work with and the rental process was about as troublefree as you can get. We sure hope to be back soon."
