  • Wonderful for boating, or fishing, along with the option to be secluded and private..

"My husband and I stayed a week here, we had just spent a week in the Florida Keys, and decided to take another week before heading home. We found this nice home, it's well maintained, along with many upgrades. More than enough room for the 2 of us, but the home could easily accommodate 4 adults and 2-3 children. Love the open floor space, but at the same time it allowed for us to relax, be comfy and cozy. A lovely screened porch area, allowing you to drink coffee in the mornings, or sit out and read as you watch a few boats go by. All though we were not looking for a fishing spot, this is a perfect location if you have a boat, or big on fishing. With cleaning stations, boat dock areas, covered, and has beautiful views. Also noticed electric hook ups. We enjoyed the serene comfort, and peace. We were there to just recharge our batteries so to speak. Chris was wonderful to work with, no problems with the booking, nor getting the deposit back. We would absolutely recommend this home, but just as important we were very impressed with working with Chris as he made everything so simple. We will be back!"

  • Perfect fishing getaway!

"This house was in a great location for fishing - just as described. We had a great time fishing, swimming, and boating in the harbor and the gulf! The boat lift was super convenient and the boat ramp is at the next street over (remember to bring cash for the pay box there- $5). You can get fresh bait shrimp right around the corner at Jug Creek Marina but get there early! The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing, etc. The pool was very cold since it's in the shade most of the day, and the pool deck is downstairs from the living area through the basement/garage, so we didn't use it much, but at this price, the pool was a bonus. FYI- It is kind of isolated and there's not a lot of stuff to do in the immediate area, but we were there to fish and were on the water most days. The Tarpon Lodge restaurant on the island is VERY good, and Matlacha is about 15 minutes away and has shops, galleries, and restaurants, with a Keys kind of atmosphere. Great vacation! Thanks, Cindy!"

  • My favorite place

"I have stayed at the finest tropical resorts around the world. Nothing can beat the view and the peace and quiet of this location. There's no hotels near this area so there's no traffic. Great Marina good restaurants fabulous fishing. I have sent my clients hear and they love it and continue to come back every year. Well worth a try."

  • Home sweet home!

"This cozy house was a perfect fit for our family of four! Super clean, plenty of space and everything we needed for a week's vacation. We had fun kayaking, fishing off the back dock and going to many artsy shops and restaurants in Bokeelia. There are also many top rated beaches in the area to explore, as well as boat rentals and charter fishing. We highly recommend spending time here!"
