  • Really nice!!

"We really loved this property. It's absolutely ideal for someone who has a fishing boat (wish we had brought ours!). There is a slip with a lift right outside the condo. The condo has two levels, each with a screened porch that looks onto the water. The decor was very tasteful and current. The kitchen was stocked with high quality new cooking items. The whole place was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend taking the ferry to Cayo Costa State Park (the ferry is only 5min from the condo). You can also get transport to Boca Grande and Cabbage Key from a nearby marina."

  • Great place for a get away!

"All the conveniences needed for a vacation. Easy access to fishing, of which we did a lot of. Once back in, a swim in the pool was just what was needed. A great screened room on the back to sit and enjoy an evening adult beverage. Lots of room for 4 adults inside, without running into each other. Clean and stocked with everything you need except food. DO IT!!"

  • Funky relaxing getaway.

"Matlacha is where you can really leave your troubles behind. This property (at least the Tarpon Suite where we stayed), provides water views from the bedroom and dining area. It's small, but has everything you need for a stay, including a complete kitchen set-up, and washer and dryer which are shared by the 4 cottages. Bikes available for free (its a biking area for sure) and kayaks available for modest rental fee. If you are looking for luxurious digs and fancy decor, this is not for you. But if you like a clean relaxed compact place for a stay, its definitely worth checking out. Oh, and the free wireless is pretty fast, so if you have a device for watching Netflix, you won't mind that the tv doesn't have cable (but I hear its coming). You can walk to some great restaurants, shops, and the local bar has a pool table. We'll be back!"

  • Comfortable and clean. It is exactly as described in VRBO.

"We enjoyed our stay in this house at the Alden Pines golf community. It is quiet and safe. We enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai. Mike was always available when we needed information. We will stay here again!"
