  • Wonderful place to stay.....

"Just got back after a 2 week stay at Cape Haze Resort. The condo was exceptionally clean, very spacious and well equipped. It was very comfortable and felt like home. It is located directly across from Don Pedro State Park, which gives you access to the Intracoastal Waterway which is great for fishing , boating and kayaking. Many things to do to keep busy in the area....something for everyone. There are excellent restaurants nearby or within a short drive. If golf is your thing...great place to be. The amenities at Cape Haze Resort are great. Dan , the owner was very easy to deal with and I'm sure we will stay with him again. I would recommend this unit for anyone looking to rent and explore the area."

  • Awesome Place

"Stayed here for a week Dec 2013. I love the area...not as crowded as several other Florida locations. This unit was spacious and very comfortable. The master bed was super comfy. Walking distance to a few restaurants/bars. Publix market is 1-2 miles down the road. Everything you need is there...but much lighter traffic. The best part is that Boca Grande is so close you could walk over bridge (if they'd let you...don't think they would). I could live here. Hope to return soon."

  • Wonderful and relaxing!

"The house and property was very nice. Even though it rained everyday while we were there, our family still had a great time! We fished from the dock, swam in the nice warm pool and then relaxed in the lovely home in the evenings. Scott, the owner, is very helpful and accessible. I highly recommend this property! • Affordable paradise

"What a fantastic time. Coquina Cove was beautiful and perfect. Everything was just as advertised. This was the first time we had ever rented a property and after such a positive experience it will not be our last. We absolutely loved Coquina Cove and cant wait to go again. It was great being able to fish of the dock (we did catch fish) and then hang at the beach. The beach was almost like our private beach at times. There were seashells everywhere including sharks teeth. We saw dolphins on 3 separate occasions and they were amazingly close in to us. We even saw a stingray. The ferry was a fun experience also. We saw the gopher tortoises about everyday along with all sorts of wildlife , hated to leave. Julie answered all of our questions very promptly and we knew if we needed anything she would be there to help. We would highly recommend Coquina Cove to anyone thinking of going to the gulf area. We went to several restaurants in the Englewood and Venice area. Our favorites were the Lock and Key , The Gulf View, and Flounders. We also enjoyed Likkety Split for ice cream. We did try the Rum Bay establishment on the island and enjoyed their bone in wings. We found a parasail outfit in Venice which was about 12 miles north. It was fun. while there we checked out downtown Venice and Nokomis beach as well. Good day trip. We loved everything about our trip. It truly was affordable paradise."
