  • Great vacation home

"It has been a wonderful vacation in Wilkes' house. It is located in a new neighborhood, 15 minutes away from the beach, bowling, and movie theater. The house is very comfortable, modern and fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to everyone."

  • Highly Recommended - All the Comforts of Home!

"Didn't we just get here? I can't believe it's time to leave already :(. We had a very nice time at your lovely home. Very comfy, cozy, updated, wonderful recliners, WIFI and TV!! My husband really enjoyed the weather as he could fish every day. He caught catfish, crabs and a puffer fish yesterday. We enjoyed watching the otter make his trek up and down the canal two weeks ago. He would swim right under the dock. We never did take the canoe to see the dolphins - big regret! I enjoyed walking to the park at Charlotte Harbor as its only a little over a mile walk each way in a very safe neighborhood. The heated pool at the park has exercise classes several mornings a week and the beach and pier are nice places to get a tan, relax and read a book or watch a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed Siesta Keys (beautiful white sand beach), Englewood and Boca Grande (WOW kind of town) beaches as well - all within an hour's drive each way. Gots lots of shells for the grandkids! Took in the weekly flea/produce market in Ft. Myers and lots of local Port Charlotte yard sales. My sister-in-law and I went to Key West for five days via a 3 1/2 hour ferry ride from Fort Myers Beach. Was a great vacation within a vacation away from the hubbies!! Lots of bars to check out and new drinks to try! We even went on a seaplane from Key West Airport to the Dry Tortugas National Park. While there we went snorkeling with the free snorkeling equipment they gave us to use. We saw some beautiful fish! We also took a guided bike tour of Key West with Key Lime Bike Tours - highly recommended. And, lastly we put our big girl panties on and went parasailing with Fury Adventures. Loved it!! We highly recommend this lovely house in a very quiet neighborhood. At the same time there are so many restaurants, places to shop, and activities to do just a short distance from the house along Highway 41. Thank you Cari and Sean for sharing your house with us!"

"We Rented this lovely home over the holidays with our Son and Daughter In-law. This home was spacious and very clean! Clean is very important to me. The owners called to make sure all was well through our stay. We would definitely book this house again!"
