  • Very comfortable and well-maintained, excellent ammenities and upgrades, location is PERFECT!

"We were two of us with our 50-lb dog, and our 1-month stay was a delight for all three of us! The house is small and cozy, just right for us. It might be a bit small for more than one couple or a small family of three. The fenced-in yard is spacious and extremely private, lots of running room for our dog, plus he got to chase rabbits and squirrels back there every morning. :-) We had fresh lemonade all month long from the trees out back (I don't think the oranges per the other reviews were ripe yet, or at least we thought we were picking lemons!). The other reviews already point out that the beds were very comfy, the kitchen and appliances were upgraded and very well done, great laundry and two very nice HD TV's. The outdoor patio (also fairly private) had a wonderful table-set with six chairs, great for relaxing, reading, meals, happy-hour and roomy enough that the three of us had a small yoga class on the deck many times (Gus can do downward dog really well!). We had no problems with the two a/c units, and typically only needed to run one-at-a-time to stay comfy, even though it was mid-to-high-eighties just about every day we were there. The bathrooms were definitely old-school 'retro' decor, but very clean and functional and reminded me of my house as a kid. :-) Kyle made sure to take care of the things that some places might skimp on - for instance, the wi-fi here has blazing fast bandwidth, the cable TV had all the channels and even a couple pay-stations available, he provided a great variety of books to read for those rainy days, and a lot of the little-item consumables were already there when we arrived - the sort of little things you don't usually travel with. Also had laundry supplies and bathroom supplies, and the kitchen utensils and pots/pans were top-notch. He provided beach towels, nice portable beach chairs, a bunch of beach-toys, shark-teeth diggers, beach umbrella, coolers, etc etc. I could keep going... you get the idea. Location - the best! Great neighbors, met several of them walking every morning with our dog - and we walked just about the whole island 2-3 miles every day. We also borrowed bikes for our stay, and enjoyed the bike path around the whole island. Walked to the dog beach, made tons of new friends there too. This town is over-the-top dog-friendly - including the outdoor restaurants and shopping too. Highly recommend the Blu Island Bistro for b-fast or lunch! We highly recommend! A++!"

  • Exceeded our expectations!

"We just returned from a 1 week stay with another couple and could not have been happier with Incommunicado. The owners thought of everything, the house was so clean and outfitted with beach towels, umbrella, chairs, and kayaks, we really didn't need to bring anything. We had 5 other couples at two other locations and they all loved this little place when we hosted a dinner. We were able to kayak in the inlet and we also rented a pontoon to Boca Grande and Cabbage Key. The pool was very clean and refreshing, but most of our time was spent on the beach. A beach we basically had to ourselves! What a relaxing vacation! We are already planning our next trip and Incommunicado will be our home for that week...you can bet on it!"

  • Sun filled days and beautiful evenings

"We had such a wonderful family vacation and compliment you on the well kept and updated accommodations. This was our first time renting with you folks and we brought many necessities and supplies from home not knowing what to expect based on some of the other condos we have rented. Not the case here. The entire vacation was just that much better with your place because we never had to worry about a thing, the condo was stocked! Beach chairs and umbrellas, toys and wave boards, a full functioning kitchen space with modern appliances including a new washer and dryer. You provide a very comfortable living space and the privacy with the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths is perfect with a child or families with kids. The sunrise walks and day long sunshine of Marco Island can’t be beat especially when it’s right downstairs from the condo. Spotting the dolphins and watching them swim from the balcony was truly unbelievable words cannot describe the site and feeling watching the sun set over the Gulf. My son and I brought our kayak and took full advantage of the warm water and beautiful weather. There’s a ton of great places to dine out in the area and activities and entertainment for every age. Kudos for really making your place feel like home to us for the week. We’ve already booked with you again for next year and cannot wait!"
