  • Beautiful rental home. Comfortable. Loved the Lanai. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood. Comfy beds.

"Wish we could have had friend visit and stay a couple nights with her traveling companion Sassy a 6lb Maltese. Our friend shares Sassy with us. So we didn't get to see them. Might have to look for a pet friendly rental."

  • Lovely family home in a good location

"Lovely family home, beautifully decorated. The pool area was spacious and well equipped and the pool itself a nice size. The location was excellent as a base for many amazing beaches by day and wonderful restaurants by night. The owners were extremely helpful in their information provision, both prior to the holiday and also whilst at the villa. We would definitely recommend this villa to friends and family."

  • Fabulous holiday

"Traveled here from the UK with my wife and 16 year old twins for a 2 week break. We felt at home as soon as the door opened. This is a beautiful property in a quiet residential area, superbly maintained with all the home comforts you could want including netted pool, outdoor seating and dining, high speed wireless, cable, fully equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue. The fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard: There are 4 well proportioned and very comfortable bedrooms with enough space for 8 people to sleep plus 2 bathrooms. The sumptuous leather couches in the open plan lounge area add to the relaxed feel of the property. There are plenty of things to do and see within striking distance by car of the house including Mangrove tours, dolphin and manatee watching, sailing, fishing, shopping, restaurants, very beautiful beaches (Siesta Key, Fort Myers, Boca Grande and Stump Pass), museums (Ringling is fascinating as are the winter homes of Edison and Ford in Fort Myers). Mote aquarium in Sarasota is worth visiting and we spent quite some time in St Armands Circle which was built by the Ringling family in the shape of a circus ring. Venice is also a very pretty town and they had "Christmas in July" while we were there - not entirely convinced by Father Christmas in shorts and sunglasses but we joined in... Punta Gorda and the Fishermans' Village is a must as is a drink and food at the end of the pier at Harpoon Harry's. Finally, as a one-off, a visit and a meal at Sharky's on the Pier near Venice is a delight - if you can get there for a meal and stay for sunset it is a treat to behold. Plenty of retail "therapy" is available as well at Bradenton (Outlet Stores), Port Charlotte, Fort Myers and Sarasota (to name just 4). It is about 5 minutes from supermarkets (Publix and Walmart). I knew it would be good - but it was beyond expectation - we will be back..."

  • Relaxing stay in immaculate home

"The house is quite luxurious, the grounds are beautiful, and mornings in the porch overlooking the lake are really magical, with an abundance of birds and wildlife in general. Not a lot of things to do in the immediate area, but farther away there are charming places. We particularly enjoyed the beach at Boca Grande and the Myakka River State Park. Would definitely return to this beautiful and inviting house!"
