"What welcomed me at Jessica and Jason's Sanibel cottage was a beautifully furnished and painted little home.A cosy ,yet open floor plan that let's in plenty of light and cross breezes.Since they had completely renovated in 2016,virtually everything in it was new; dishes, linens, furniture etc.As someone who is very tidy and dislikes clutter,I found the the home to be impeccably clean, bright and with just the right amount of art work and interesting shell items.
The two bedrooms are indeed small, though they have good sized closets and ceiling fans, along with fine quality linens.Since I used the outdoor shower almost exclusively, the smallness of the bathroom, which is nicely done, didn't bother me.What could be finer than to look up at the sky, surrounded by lush tree's, with birds singing as you take a shower?
What I liked about the neighborhood was that though it is only two streets in from the main road ,you truly aren't aware of the traffic.Since the modest houses are very close together, it was wonderful that all the neighbors seemed to be very mindful of being respectful and quiet. The fabulous bike path is just at the end of the street,so you can zoom off to just about anywhere on the island. As an avid bicyclist,I found it enthralling to be able to get to the stores, restaurants, library, museums and beaches by pedaling away for minutes or miles.
As hosts,Jessica and Jason could not have been more kind, attentive or quick to respond to any questions or needs. They welcomed me to their delightful cottage with a basket of delicious treats and thoughtful gifts. So if you are quiet, out door loving and easy going people, who appreciate beauty, by all means try to get this wonderful cottage for your Sanibel vacation."
