  • A Seaside Home Away from Home

"My husband and I spent the month of January in this updated, comfortable condo at Sandpiper Beach. The furnishings of the condo are excellent including a beautiful kitchen with new appliances, countertops and cabinets. The bathrooms are updated with new showers and great tile work. We slept like babies on the very comfortable king mattress and with the view of the ocean who wouldn't have sweet dreams? We would highly recommend this condo as a fantastic base for exploring our favorite island! Sandpiper Beach is a quiet, non-smoking property tucked back at the end of a dead end road and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool, beach access and beautifully landscaped complex."

  • Great Condo!

"This was one of the nicest condos I've ever stayed in on Sanibel. A friend and I came down for a week and a big selling point was that there was a king bed in the 2nd bedroom instead of 2 twin beds. Both beds were very comfortable. Loved the wood floors - no carpet and no musty carpet smell. The kitchen was fantastic and outfitted very well. Had enough glasses and plates. Both bathrooms had nice size walk in tiled showers. It was just terrific and I will definitely be back. The trek to the beach was a bit longer than I'm used to, but the boardwalk (not wood) extended down to the sand and was easy to walk on. The only challenge was trying to get the car backed into the space and no elevator (bummer when unloading). Other than that - Sandpiper is a great condo property."

  • Paradise on earth

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely gorgeous condo. Amminities and cleanliness 2nd to none. We've stayed in several places on the island but this is by far the best. We have no need to look anywhere else now. From the property managers to the complex itself was top notch. Amazing landscaping, pool, and boardwalk to beach. Our best experiance on the fantastic Sanibel Island and we will be going back soon."

  • A beautiful apartment in a wonderful small complex

"We have just spent two weeks in this apartment and are already reserving for 2018. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped, not just the kitchen but also the supply of towels and other basics. And the Sandpiper Beach complex was just what we wanted--small, quiet, with lush landscaping, a very nice pool area, and easy access to the beach as well as the shops and restaurants along Periwinkle Way. There are just a couple of things potential renters should know. First, there is no elevator to the apartment level. There are 14 steps, which was not an issue for us but might be for some people, esp. when you have to get luggage upstairs. The other thing is that the wifi is unreliable to say the least. The apartment shares wifi with the rest of the complex, and it was often slow and sometimes simply unavailable because of overuse. Again this isn't a big deal for most people, but it can be inconvenient if you're like my husband and every vacation is a working vacations. The problem was worse at night, so he learned to send large files during the day, when it was easier. I think next year we'll bring a wifi hotspot device to get around this. But none of this undoes the fact that the apartment is so appealing in so many ways! As I said, we've already decided to return in 2018."
