  • Awesome Condo!

"As first time visitors to Sanibel , we booked this condo because of its central location and the online pictures. Both were fabulous! It looked the same as online with a beachy cottage feel. Updated furniture, great kitchen with everything you would need from a blender to a cheese knife! The showers are walk-ins and very nice size. The master has a rainshower head which was great. The master bed mattress was extremely comfortable (which cant be said for many rentals) It was great to have many amenities available for our use- beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella ,coolers, tubes, boogie boards, nets etc. Talked to some on the beach whose units did not have these, so they had to purchase or rent for the week. Across the street from the bike path. The screened lanai was great for breakfast and afternoon cocktails. The pool was very clean and never very crowded. Sand Pointe only has about 40 units, so it's on the small side which is nice . The view from the condo is beautiful; you see a lagoon, the pool and then the gulf. Every day, we watched dolphins swim by and even saw a manatee one day! Dinners at George & Wendy's (live music), Cips, Clam Shack, Doc Fords and the Sandbar- all very good. Bike, kayak and paddleboard rentals nearby with convenient drop off and pick up. Cindy was great to deal with and very easy to contact by both phone and email! Awesome all around experience and will definitely rent this condo again!!"

  • Perfect location and amenities for all ages

"We vacationed here on Spring Break (2 adults and 4 kids aged 11-15). It was our first time in Sanibel. Pointe Santo (PS) is at a great location, and our kids loved biking (rented bikes for the week from Billy's) all over the Island. PS is located right by the Tarpoon Bay Rd, so easy to get to the main drag. The views from our second floor were amazing. Each condo had a great view. The only disappointments were #1 No-See-Um bugs at dawn and dusk. We all came home with bad bites! Not sure if this is all the time, but stinks you can't be out on the beach at dusk to watch the beautiful sunsets and not get eaten alive! #2- two days of our vacation there were these black annoying bugs on the beach. They didn't bite, they just landed on you and stayed. They were even at the pool. Again, just lasted 2 days. No one seemed to know what they were, but annoying. The condo was spacious and enough room for us all (the pictures on here are old. The master had new bedding and the living room not this furniture). My only complaint was the counter tops were new, and appliances were old. The refrigerator had side holders that were missing the shelving, so you couldn't put condiments, etc. on the side door. The stove was dated as well, but worked. Overall, I would recommend Pointe Santo for any family. The volleyball, and all different age groups at the beach is fun for everyone! The shelling is awesome too. Lots of restaurant options. Our favorite was the Island Cow, and for breakfast, Over Easy Café."

  • So beautiful and relaxing!!

"My family loved our stay at this beautiful condominium right on the beach! The view is spectacular! You're in the kitchen doing the dishes...and you are looking at the water out the window. And as another guest commented, sleeping with the door to the lanai open and hearing the sounds of the gulf. It doesn't get better than this! The condo is so nicely furnished with a very beachy feeling. It's well stocked with anything you could need, including beach towels and a well equipped kitchen. The complex itself is really nicely maintained and the pool is big enough for lap swimming. We played tennis several times and enjoyed being able to park our bikes just down the stairs from the unit. Sanibel itself is a jewel, filled with incredible nature and a very laid back feel and lots of relaxing and beautiful things to do, including biking, visiting the nature reserve, and spending time in the gentle and warm gulf waters. Perhaps my favorite thing of the whole trip was early walks on the beach to see the spectacular sunrise just outside the condo. All in all, fantastic!"

  • A relaxing week

"Everything was terrific and as advertised. Everything was clean and in order. We found it better to rent a house vice hotel room. More room to stretch out, a kitchen when you want to stay in, and laundry without having to change floors. The neighborhood is extremely quite and 2 blocks from beach is a workable distance, especially with the bikes and the trailer!! My only request is although there are plenty of pots and pans, a non-stick pan would be so much better. The owner provided me his contact info and answered all of questions in short order. We especially liked the binder with the local restaurants. We will recommend this property to our family and friends. The following are the restaurants we ate at in (all were good, some a little better than others), Of the places I remember eating Traders, something Cow, and the Italian joint were great. We never left the island all week. We look forward to returning, even for a shorter period."
