  • Sanibel Island Retreat

"Our trip to Sanibel has come and gone, much too soon, and now back in the cool Ohio weather. We had a fantastic trip this year and stayed at the Sundial Resort for the first time. In the past, we had stayed at hotels and wanted a condo this time. This condo was a great choice, it has a great floor plan and awesome views from the screened lanai. It was clean except for the lanai furniture needed a cleaning. The kitchen had everything that we needed, as we ate breakfast and lunch in and went out to dinner each evening. We really enjoyed the Island Cow, Doc Ford's and the Bubble Room in Captiva for dinner and great desserts. We love the small island feel and the relaxed atmosphere of Sanibel. The sunsets are spectacular from Bowman's Beach and the Mucky Duck on Captiva. The owner was great to work with and graciously allowed us to get in the condo a little earlier as our flight got in early, which was much appreciated. Overall, our trip was just what we needed, only it ended too soon! We would definitely recommend this condo to others."

  • Perfect vacation!

"We had a wonderful vacation! Everything was better than expected. We arrived very late, so we weren't able to see anything on the drive to the condo. The next morning, I opened the drapes to the lanai and saw the awesome view of the gulf! Thank you for the use of the beach toys! We collected lots of cool shells and just had a fabulous time! The no see-ums were the one unpleasant part of the trip, but a minor inconvenience. We rented bikes for quick trips to the store, but Bailey's, here at Sundial, has a pretty good selection of food. We hope to visit again!"

  • Well kept resort property. All our needs were met.

"My wife and I wanted to spend a week at a resort, Sundial, where we owned property for 30 years. This unit was well kept and provided us with an enjoyable stay on Sanibel Island. It was like coming home again as we visited restaurants and attractions that reminded us of raising our family, as we vacationed often on this island paradise."

  • Perfect location and amenities for all ages

"We vacationed here on Spring Break (2 adults and 4 kids aged 11-15). It was our first time in Sanibel. Pointe Santo (PS) is at a great location, and our kids loved biking (rented bikes for the week from Billy's) all over the Island. PS is located right by the Tarpoon Bay Rd, so easy to get to the main drag. The views from our second floor were amazing. Each condo had a great view. The only disappointments were #1 No-See-Um bugs at dawn and dusk. We all came home with bad bites! Not sure if this is all the time, but stinks you can't be out on the beach at dusk to watch the beautiful sunsets and not get eaten alive! #2- two days of our vacation there were these black annoying bugs on the beach. They didn't bite, they just landed on you and stayed. They were even at the pool. Again, just lasted 2 days. No one seemed to know what they were, but annoying. The condo was spacious and enough room for us all (the pictures on here are old. The master had new bedding and the living room not this furniture). My only complaint was the counter tops were new, and appliances were old. The refrigerator had side holders that were missing the shelving, so you couldn't put condiments, etc. on the side door. The stove was dated as well, but worked. Overall, I would recommend Pointe Santo for any family. The volleyball, and all different age groups at the beach is fun for everyone! The shelling is awesome too. Lots of restaurant options. Our favorite was the Island Cow, and for breakfast, Over Easy Café."
