Excellent Condominium, Great Owners
"Absolutely beautifully and tastefully decorated, larger two bedroom unit in a top notch condominium facility. The unit is on the second floor, which allows you to see over the dunes to the ocean. There is an elevator in the building. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need, with the exception of spices. Quality newer appliances, including a washer & dryer. You absolutely can't go wrong with this one!"

"We have been returning to this condo since we first found it. We stayed at John and Audrey's condo the first week of June this year. Our days of travel were not the traditional Saturday to Saturday and John was very flexible to work things out to get us in. Last year we stayed for longer than the 7 nights and we were also accommodated.
We love this condo. It is beautiful inside. The tile and stone throughout is just incredible. The master bath is done completely in stone and is a great space. They have remodeled this condo with a different layout from the other condos at IBC. The master bath is large and private. The kitchen is another area they gave a lot of attention. We cooked nearly all of our meals in the kitchen. We only ate at restaurants twice while we were at Sanibel this time. We wanted to maximize our time on the beach and in the water. All of this said, the main reason that we chose this condo in the first place, besides the beautiful interior, is the view of the Gulf. It is not a direct beachfront property, but the view form the screened in lanai is wonderful - the palm trees and the Gulf- what more could you ask for. My husband fishes from the beach here and gets going very early in the morning. I can watch him from the lanai before I go down. Also when you open up the blinds on the wall of windows, it is like the condo is an extension of the outdoors. This year there were two little frogs that could somehow scale the windows and hung out along the sills.
The shed has chairs and umbrellas and some toys for the beach. There are 5 beach towels also available in the condo so you don't have to pack them. Paper and soap items are also provided. There was plenty of dishwasher detergent, but I would recommend buying some laundry detergent. I did at least 2 loads of laundry each day. With kids, something is always needing washed and it is so nice to be able to wash them in the evening or morning right in the condo. It also makes it possible to pack lighter.
We come to Sanibel for this location. We could stay the entire time right here along this stretch of beach and not visit any where else. It has a great condo, fishing from shore, lots of different animal life, great shelling, and a multitude of people who are happy to be doing the same things you are. We will definitely be returning to John and Audrey's condo and are thankful that they have made it available to us. - Mary"

"What a great, relaxing week on Sanibel! This condo is perfect. We stayed 3/5-3/12 -- a family of 5, kids age 8.7 and 4. This place was great, both in terms of location on the island and the actual condo. We were steps away from the pool, which was never overcrowded, as well as minutes from the beach. I will say that the beach is not the plush beach we were expecting but still nice and great for shelling. I can't say enough about the beds in this condo, SO COMFORTABLE!! The kitchen has anything you would need to prepare meals and having the washer and dryer was so nice. Plenty of space to spread out. Beach accessories was an added bonus. We rented bikes from Billy's bike rental and rode bikes everywhere. On the last day my son accidentally locked us out of the apartment and VIP rentals was over within 10 minutes to get us another key. Thank you for a wonderful, truly relaxing vacation!"

"We vacationed here on Spring Break (2 adults and 4 kids aged 11-15). It was our first time in Sanibel. Pointe Santo (PS) is at a great location, and our kids loved biking (rented bikes for the week from Billy's) all over the Island. PS is located right by the Tarpoon Bay Rd, so easy to get to the main drag. The views from our second floor were amazing. Each condo had a great view. The only disappointments were #1 No-See-Um bugs at dawn and dusk. We all came home with bad bites! Not sure if this is all the time, but stinks you can't be out on the beach at dusk to watch the beautiful sunsets and not get eaten alive! #2- two days of our vacation there were these black annoying bugs on the beach. They didn't bite, they just landed on you and stayed. They were even at the pool. Again, just lasted 2 days. No one seemed to know what they were, but annoying. The condo was spacious and enough room for us all (the pictures on here are old. The master had new bedding and the living room not this furniture). My only complaint was the counter tops were new, and appliances were old. The refrigerator had side holders that were missing the shelving, so you couldn't put condiments, etc. on the side door. The stove was dated as well, but worked. Overall, I would recommend Pointe Santo for any family. The volleyball, and all different age groups at the beach is fun for everyone! The shelling is awesome too. Lots of restaurant options. Our favorite was the Island Cow, and for breakfast, Over Easy Café."
