  • A second fabulous stay!

"This is our second six-week stay and it is 5 star for the extensive ocean view, approximately 18 feet of windows that cause one to feel they are sitting on the beach. When our guests walk-in, they are taken away. If you prefer actually sitting on the beach, everything is provided - umbrella, chairs, cooler. We especially appreciate the kitchen that is well-stocked with cooking gear as we love to cook the fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables available from the Sanibel Farmers Market. The guest bedroom is comfortable as is the MBR that has two sinks and a large walk-in closet. The smart TV and wifi are essentials any more. Island Beach Club is fantastically located to the west end of the island and this helps avoid some of the Periwinkle Rd. traffic. It is a quiet area with friendly owners and guests who visit. Susie is good to work with and responsive to questions and needs. We hope to stay again in the future."

  • Fantastic Stay!

"We had an amazing stay at Pointe Santo B-1. Our family made some great memories on Sanibel Island. The atmosphere is very relaxing and laid back. We talked to some very nice people there at the condo. Some of the best shelling is right in front of the condo. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for something quiet and relaxing."

  • Beautiful sanibel getaway

"Pointe Santo was perfect for our family of 5. Loved this unit because of the ground floor access and close location to the grills as we cooked out several nights. The pool is centrally located and a nice break after hours at the beach. The condo was clean on arrival and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Was nice having the beach chairs, towels and a few toys there already. My kids wanted a beach with shells and they got what they asked for...they were abundant. Location on the island was good as it was short drive to captiva and also to the lighthouse beach. Saw dolphins swimming there several times. I would recommend if you are doing much grocery shopping you stop in Ft myers just prior to the bridge at either Publix or wal mart. The store on island is convenient and has most of the things you may want but very expensive. The owner of this unit was easy to communicate with and was very prompt in returning emails with any questions I had. Overall very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this particular unit. Hoping we get to return for another visit. Thanks Janet!"

  • Delightful Beachfront Condo

"Overall this was our most favorite vacation! This particular unit is on the 4th floor and directly in the middle of the unit with a spiral staircase from its lanai to the rooftop sunning deck. The view was stunning! Upon arrival we were greeted on the rooftop by a local osprey who did not seem to mind when we entered. The unit was pleasantly decorated, and there was an adequate amount of kitchenware for our stay. VIP Rentals are a well oiled operation. Everything went smoothly. We arrived early afternoon and were able to get into the unit shortly after 2:30 pm. A couple items to note. The deadbolt on the entrance is tricky to lock and unlock. I mentioned it to the staff at VIP upon departure. You have to hold the handle down longer than home for the toilet to flush, and there is no stock of anything in the condo. Be prepared to buy salt & pepper, extra toilet paper and paper towels. They give you a starter pack of 4 dishwasher tabs, a small airplane size bottle of dish soap, several garbage bags, a roll of TP and a roll of PT. You get dish towels and dish cloths, and six towels, hand towels and wash cloths and a small bar of soap. The bedroom closet is locked and the closet in the bathroom has cleaning and maintenance items in it. So, you have to be creative if you want to hang your clothes. The unit was clean, but I could tell the housekeeper did minimal cleaning. We found children's under garments left behind in the TV console. Hair and dust on the ladies dresser, and the tub seemed permanently stained dirty. For the cleaning fee we were charged, I felt we left it cleaner than when we arrived. We were listening to music on the lanai one evening and security told us to turn it off and that music was not allowed due to the echo chamber effect of the units :( The pool area is small and fills up quickly during the day. I tried several times to go swimming but there was not enough chairs. The beach is extremely close to the complex and there is a shell washing station and outdoor shower to rinse off before going back to your unit. The grills are a convenience, but the flow of gas is regulated and therefore it takes a very long time to cook your food thoroughly. We rented bikes through one of the local rental places. The bikes were delivered before we arrived and were marked with our name and lock and key were provided. The biking is fabulous on this island. We each went 10 to 30 miles a day! It was a very nice unit, but not worth the price we paid."
