  • Wonderful Vacation Spot on Sanibel

"My husband and I brought our 6 month old daughter to Florida for the month of November, 2015 to visit all our family and decided to stay on Sanibel where it was quiet! The house was perfect for us -- had enough room for the three of us and extra space when my sister-in-law or mother-in-law would stay with us! We loved the newly updated kitchen and back deck with grill. The yard was a great size and we took advantage of the bikes when we could and rode to the fish market. Traffic on the island was only bad in the evenings with all of the people leaving the island, but we thoroughly enjoyed the location of the house because it was close to the causeway, but yet still in a quiet community. We utilized the private beach, which was a short 5 minute drive to get to and would sometimes just walk to the bay beach side to sit by the water. The house itself needs a few, very minor updates (nails protruding on deck and loose curtain rods - which my handy father-in-law fixed. We have a small child so we're more cognizant of these things!) As well, we didn't need our baby monitor when we slept in the master and had her in the other bedroom as there isn't a lot of sound barriers. Overall, wonderful experience and the owners were good to deal with. *Just a note for the owners for ease of future renters: stock a few more cleaning cloths and dish towels :)) Sincerely, Travelers from Canada"

"This condo is located on the 3rd floor facing the beach which makes the view incredible. It is beautifully furnished and equiped with everything you would need for a home away from home. You don't even need to bring movies or games for the children, not even beach toys. Joe and his wife have truely thought of everything and if you need to talk to Joe for anything, he is such a pleasure to talk to. I have only stayed at this one property of his but I would recommend it to anyone. Staying here make it a wounderful week."

  • Perfect location and amenities for all ages

"We vacationed here on Spring Break (2 adults and 4 kids aged 11-15). It was our first time in Sanibel. Pointe Santo (PS) is at a great location, and our kids loved biking (rented bikes for the week from Billy's) all over the Island. PS is located right by the Tarpoon Bay Rd, so easy to get to the main drag. The views from our second floor were amazing. Each condo had a great view. The only disappointments were #1 No-See-Um bugs at dawn and dusk. We all came home with bad bites! Not sure if this is all the time, but stinks you can't be out on the beach at dusk to watch the beautiful sunsets and not get eaten alive! #2- two days of our vacation there were these black annoying bugs on the beach. They didn't bite, they just landed on you and stayed. They were even at the pool. Again, just lasted 2 days. No one seemed to know what they were, but annoying. The condo was spacious and enough room for us all (the pictures on here are old. The master had new bedding and the living room not this furniture). My only complaint was the counter tops were new, and appliances were old. The refrigerator had side holders that were missing the shelving, so you couldn't put condiments, etc. on the side door. The stove was dated as well, but worked. Overall, I would recommend Pointe Santo for any family. The volleyball, and all different age groups at the beach is fun for everyone! The shelling is awesome too. Lots of restaurant options. Our favorite was the Island Cow, and for breakfast, Over Easy Café."

  • Fantastic!

"We enjoyed a beautiful, relaxing, awesome week in #324! We appreciated having the beach gear for shelling and enjoying the sun. The condo is well equipped, clean and quiet. The food on Sanibel is delicious and we especially enjoyed grouper at Doc Fords and Traders. The shelling here is amazing! I hope to come back next year!!"
