  • Great getaway!

"First trip to Sanibel and couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Right on the beach, yet close enough to go into town. Had everything we needed. The inside was beautiful. Very clean. Very spacious. Very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend very highly."

  • Perfect location and amenities for all ages

"We vacationed here on Spring Break (2 adults and 4 kids aged 11-15). It was our first time in Sanibel. Pointe Santo (PS) is at a great location, and our kids loved biking (rented bikes for the week from Billy's) all over the Island. PS is located right by the Tarpoon Bay Rd, so easy to get to the main drag. The views from our second floor were amazing. Each condo had a great view. The only disappointments were #1 No-See-Um bugs at dawn and dusk. We all came home with bad bites! Not sure if this is all the time, but stinks you can't be out on the beach at dusk to watch the beautiful sunsets and not get eaten alive! #2- two days of our vacation there were these black annoying bugs on the beach. They didn't bite, they just landed on you and stayed. They were even at the pool. Again, just lasted 2 days. No one seemed to know what they were, but annoying. The condo was spacious and enough room for us all (the pictures on here are old. The master had new bedding and the living room not this furniture). My only complaint was the counter tops were new, and appliances were old. The refrigerator had side holders that were missing the shelving, so you couldn't put condiments, etc. on the side door. The stove was dated as well, but worked. Overall, I would recommend Pointe Santo for any family. The volleyball, and all different age groups at the beach is fun for everyone! The shelling is awesome too. Lots of restaurant options. Our favorite was the Island Cow, and for breakfast, Over Easy Café."

  • Perfect getaway -- with kids or without!

"Wow--what a great vacation rental! Pointe Santo is a beautiful, family friendly, old-school island complex with a clubhouse, kids' activities, movie nights, a great pool, and one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Sanibel. There are bike paths right outside the complex that will take you all over the island, and the Ding Darling reservation is right around the corner. It reminded me very much of my summers as a kid where we went back to the same set of houses with friends over and over every year--very nostalgic. And then, 46B--a penthouse unit--is just wonderful. The 4th floor view includes a nice vista of the central pond, the island, the pool, and the beach beyond. Sunset drinks on the roof deck are a must. The unit is beautifully decorated, the beds are super-comfortable, and the whimsical ships' berth bunk beds with portholes and closing shutter windows--and the fun my daughter had sleeping in them--are enough to keep us coming back for many years. Thanks for giving us such a great vacation--we loved it and would highly recommend it!"

  • Awesome Condo!

"As first time visitors to Sanibel , we booked this condo because of its central location and the online pictures. Both were fabulous! It looked the same as online with a beachy cottage feel. Updated furniture, great kitchen with everything you would need from a blender to a cheese knife! The showers are walk-ins and very nice size. The master has a rainshower head which was great. The master bed mattress was extremely comfortable (which cant be said for many rentals) It was great to have many amenities available for our use- beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella ,coolers, tubes, boogie boards, nets etc. Talked to some on the beach whose units did not have these, so they had to purchase or rent for the week. Across the street from the bike path. The screened lanai was great for breakfast and afternoon cocktails. The pool was very clean and never very crowded. Sand Pointe only has about 40 units, so it's on the small side which is nice . The view from the condo is beautiful; you see a lagoon, the pool and then the gulf. Every day, we watched dolphins swim by and even saw a manatee one day! Dinners at George & Wendy's (live music), Cips, Clam Shack, Doc Fords and the Sandbar- all very good. Bike, kayak and paddleboard rentals nearby with convenient drop off and pick up. Cindy was great to deal with and very easy to contact by both phone and email! Awesome all around experience and will definitely rent this condo again!!"
