  • Pleasant, clean and affordable

"My daughter and I stayed here in May, it was our first time visiting Florida and we were so happy with the Driftwood and in awe of Sanibel Island, we had an amazing visit. Booking was very easy, Bridget got back to all of our messages quickly. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, plates and utensils, I brought my own blender to make frozen daiquiris!! The beach is not far, 2 blocks to walk and they provided a wagon, umbrella and beach chairs and a great place to watch the sunrise, we drove to check out a few other beaches where parking was $4 per hour. We will definitely book again, hopefully the price will remain affordable."

  • Style and Comfort with a View

"This property offers a great Gulf-front vista and a marvelous view onto the central landscaping from its huge wrap-around windows. It's spacious, nicely decorated, and provides plenty of comfortable seating to encourage taking in the scenery, either indoors or outside on the screened lanai. We greatly enjoyed our stay."

  • Beautiful Sanibel

"Beautiful view! Very clean and comfortable. Only draw back, no beach towels. The umbrella was broken too."

  • Very nice older property.

"Plus: Very neat & clean. Pine Cove has been a favorite of ours over the years; 1st time in this unit. Minus: The lack of a light over the dining area was a big minus. The east-most sliding door in the living room is in-operable (needs new rollers). The silverware needed attention: 2 tb, 1 TB, & 1 soup spoon were the extent of the spoons. The majority of the knives all had bent ends; can't imagine what they were used for!! The 2nd bedroom was tight for 4 people in 2 full beds; OK for kids. We ate all suppers out: Timbers and Traders are still our favorites; and Sweet Mellissa's for a real treat. Next year we'll have 6 adults & 2 grandchildren, so we'll need a larger unit."
