  • Relaxing beach vacation

"What a great, relaxing week on Sanibel! This condo is perfect. We stayed 3/5-3/12 -- a family of 5, kids age 8.7 and 4. This place was great, both in terms of location on the island and the actual condo. We were steps away from the pool, which was never overcrowded, as well as minutes from the beach. I will say that the beach is not the plush beach we were expecting but still nice and great for shelling. I can't say enough about the beds in this condo, SO COMFORTABLE!! The kitchen has anything you would need to prepare meals and having the washer and dryer was so nice. Plenty of space to spread out. Beach accessories was an added bonus. We rented bikes from Billy's bike rental and rode bikes everywhere. On the last day my son accidentally locked us out of the apartment and VIP rentals was over within 10 minutes to get us another key. Thank you for a wonderful, truly relaxing vacation!"

  • Everything's Better With An Ocean View

"Fabulous girl's beach trip from June 18-25, 2016. LOVED renting this little piece of heaven on the beach. The photos shown are accurate representations of what the condo looks like. Plenty of room for the three of us and so much better than a hotel room. If we weren't at the beautiful beach walking, shelling, reading or just soaking up the sun, you could find us poolside. Inside, lots of time spent on the screened lanai, yeah no bugs. The kitchen was excellent and had everything we needed to do some minor meal preparations which was kind of fun. Seriously, on vacation and I think we ate at all the most popular restaurants from Sanibel Island to Captiva. Lots of restaurants with good food but they aren't cheap. My favorite meal was the Shrimp Paridiso at Jacaranda's. Also, liked the clean upscale atmosphere and food at Trader's. Ocean Reach has bonus areas...the BBQ area where we grilled burgers for our picnic and the shell washing station was helpful. We found the desk staff at the office to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you prefer an active night life, the area may not be the right fit for you since we swore everyone must have gone home and to bed by 10! That's ok for a change of pace, cause Ocean Reach feels remote, is quiet, and oh so relaxing! We loved it!"

  • Paradise Found

"This is an excellent and very clean condo! It is truly beautiful and very well maintained. What you see in the pictures is what you get and more. The unit is very close to the beach and close to all the amenities. The view from the lanai is great. We enjoyed sitting there with a cold drink after a long day of shelling. The IBC is not a resort and you have to stay there to really appreciate that fact. It is very quiet and like being at home. The owners are very kind people and a pleasure to work with. They are very responsive and I rate them an A+++. We plan to stay with them again next year."

  • Wonderful Vacation Spot on Sanibel

"My husband and I brought our 6 month old daughter to Florida for the month of November, 2015 to visit all our family and decided to stay on Sanibel where it was quiet! The house was perfect for us -- had enough room for the three of us and extra space when my sister-in-law or mother-in-law would stay with us! We loved the newly updated kitchen and back deck with grill. The yard was a great size and we took advantage of the bikes when we could and rode to the fish market. Traffic on the island was only bad in the evenings with all of the people leaving the island, but we thoroughly enjoyed the location of the house because it was close to the causeway, but yet still in a quiet community. We utilized the private beach, which was a short 5 minute drive to get to and would sometimes just walk to the bay beach side to sit by the water. The house itself needs a few, very minor updates (nails protruding on deck and loose curtain rods - which my handy father-in-law fixed. We have a small child so we're more cognizant of these things!) As well, we didn't need our baby monitor when we slept in the master and had her in the other bedroom as there isn't a lot of sound barriers. Overall, wonderful experience and the owners were good to deal with. *Just a note for the owners for ease of future renters: stock a few more cleaning cloths and dish towels :)) Sincerely, Travelers from Canada"
