  • Perfect Getaway

"This cottage truly is perfect. First of all I was impressed by the cleanliness! It was the perfect size for the 2 uof s and our 4 legged pet. It was so close to the beach which only took seconds to get there to do shelling which was awesome. So many different shells every day. The kitchen was perfectly stocked so you could purchase food at the local grocery stores so you could fix a quick meal if you chose. The pictures online of the cottage are truly accurate. The washer and dryer was great knowing it was there so we packed less. Bathroom was awesome and even supplied a nice amount of towels. The walking and bike trails were endless. Sanibel truly is a great vacation spot and this cottage makes it perfect. We did have one issue, but all I can say is that the owners will do everything they can to make sure you want to come back and visit again which is what we plan on doing. I would like to thank Michael and Kathy Farley for sharing their piece of paradise with us."

  • Mid-July on Sanibel

"We keep coming back to Villa Sanibel 3A for many reasons. We have tried other resorts and units in Villa Sanibel but prefer 3A because we have an assigned parking space right outside the entry door; we have no steps to climb since it is a ground floor unit; it is non-smoking; it is fully furnished; when we walk out thru the lanai, we are at the pool; just a short walk down the driveway and we are at the beach; there are several visitor parking spaces (unlike some other resorts); a short walk to the bike baths; a short bike ride to the grocery store, CVS and other shopping; and there is a BBQ right next to the pool . After trying several different weeks in June and July, we like the weeks starting after the 4th as a little quieter and meeting returning renters we met from previous years. Every year we have met different European travelers who have interesting info to share. Yes, it is hot in July but it is nice and cool in 3A. Sanibel Holiday manages the registration for 3A and is a great resource for information and assistance with personal needs. There are many good restaurants on Sanibel/Captiva and Sanibel Holiday as well as other guests at Villa Sanibel are great sources for recommendations. This year, relatives decided to rent another unit to experience all of what they have heard about Sanibel Island and Villa Sanibel. Much time was spent looking for unique shells to discuss and take home."

  • Summer Family Fun

"We love this condo. It is in a great location on the beach. Wonderful views for morning coffee, great beach for swimming or playing. We love the storage shed since we come prepared with extra chairs, umbrellas, beach buggies, beach toys etc - and we don't have to haul them into the room to leave daily mess. We also appreciate the parking stall since there is usually a massive rainstorm in the afternoon in the summer so the car is protected both from the rain -and the brutal daily sun. Washer and dryer in the room are perfect. Large tub helps us keep beach towels clean. This is our third time in this unit - so we are certainly repeat customers. Mr. O is great to work with."

  • Home Away from Home

"This was our first time visiting the island and my family fell in love with it. The location of the condo was fantastic; right on the beach, away from the crowds, but still with the access to the pool. The condo itself was very nice furnished with pull-out sofa, extra pillows, beach towels and beach toys for the kids. We had fun exploring the beautiful island on the bikes that came with the great condo. In addition, Eleonore has made us feel welcome by calling in just to make sure we found everything OK, and having a tray of delicious cookies and cold water bottles waiting for us. In addition, when I lost one key to the condo and suggested to charge me for that, Eleonore rejected the offer and didn't seem too angry about me loosing the key. In other words, Sundial is a great noncommercial place that we will be sure to visit again."
