"This is our 3rd year staying at Mariner Ponite # usual , the condo was clean and comfortable and the fishing predictable, although we caught more sheepshead than usual, very few snappers and only a few black tip sharks. Weather was hotter then I expected , but we usually visit in May. The gulf beaches had bath like temperatures so we did spend more time at the pool which was only a few steps from the condo.......will be back next year looking for that big one , once again !"

  • Location, location, location

"This is a well-maintained unit. Things appear to be updated or replaced as needed. New carpet, new lounge chair cushions and a quiet dishwasher. Plenty of games and beach chairs. The screened in porch was spacious and not too close to the pool. The grounds were immaculate. The management company provides a generous amount of starter supplies. New shower curtain liner (this seems silly but many rental places ignore this opportunity to have a fresh smelling rental). The walk-in shower in the 1st bathroom was nice for my mother. The management company was responsive when we discovered that we were missing the sheets for the fold-out couch. There were plenty of shower towels and beach towels. We rented bikes from Billy's used them for trips to Lighthouse Beach and Tarpon Bay. This location is right on the network of bike paths. The location was perfect as each of us could come and go to the beach without loading up the car. Highly recommended."

  • Sunny beachside condo...

"We loved the location of the unit, could see and hear the ocean from the lanai and master bedroom. It was just a few steps to the dunes and beautiful beach. The unit itself was clean and bright and cheery, if I had to nit pick about one issue was the guest bathroom was a bit rough around the edges so to speak, the shower stall was old and worn out, but very CLEAN, and it appeared as if maybe in process of remodeling it. The master bath and bedroom were beautiful. It is an older unit, but was decorated nicely and kitchen was up to date with all needed supplies. The unit very cozy, clean ,bright and cheery! The owners seem very nice and informative. The responded very quickly to any question or concern that I had prior to vacation. Sanibel is a shell seekers paradise! Loved getting up before sunrise and walking along the shoreline. The ocean held plenty of live starfish and sand dollars. Loved waiting for low tide to walk out to sand bar to find sand dollars. Also encountered dolphins very close to the shoreline! Loved Sanibel and this unit. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Cannot wait to return!"

  • Great Rental -- Great Location!!

"My husband and I were extremely happy with this condo; it was perfect for the two of us! The condo looked even cuter in person than it does in the pictures provided here. The location on Sanibel Island was perfect. The beach near the condo seemed a little calmer than other spots further down the island (not that any part of the beach in Sanibel is overcrowded). My husband and I really appreciated that the owners provided beach chairs, toys, and an umbrella, too! The unit was very clean and well-stocked with kitchen supplies in case you are in the mood to cook while you are there. We did not take advantage of the pool or grills, but everything on the property seemed nice and well kept. The owners were great to work with, too. They responded very quickly to questions and were extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again! :) As far as recommendations while you are on the island, our favorite place to eat was the Island Cow. We loved it! The shell museum was really interesting, too, and we also recommend renting kayaks through the Tarpon Bay Explorers (in the morning if you want to see fish jumping out of the water like crazy) if you are in the mood to get out and do something other than relax on the beach."
