  • A perfect place for a girls' winter getaway

"Every day we would enjoy our coffee on the lanai and then walk the short distance to the beach to go shelling and swimming. We would end the afternoon with some time in the pool which is located just out the back door. There are wonderful restaurants only a few miles away. Our favorites were The Over Easy Café for breakfast and Doc Ford's and The Lighthouse Café for dinner. The condo was exactly as described and the owner was very responsive when we had a question. We all agreed that we would love to come back again."

  • Lovely Property

"We have stayed at Pine Cove many times and 201 is the condo we like the best. We appreciate the new furniture in the living room. I'm sure it is hard to keep up with everything on this popular rental however a 1/2 day of a maintenance person would put everything right! It would be nice to have pot holders, more kitchen linens and place mats. There are not always beach chairs - some years we find them, some years we buy them and leave them - that's how it goes. Plenty of beach towels. The pool, grille and hot tub area are always so well maintained. Funny that the town blows off the beach walkway next door at 7 am - time to get up! We booked for next year without hesitation!"

  • Fantastic property on a beautiful island

"There were six of us on a vacation with extended family and this house worked perfectly for us. We had the king bed we needed and one of the bedrooms had two twins which was great also. The decor was so lovely and peaceful, and of the highest quality. We were so close to the beach though, we could easily walk. I liked being on this end of the island, too. It was quieter than being super close to the pubs and the island beaches are absolutely stunning! They offer the same ocean colors and white powder sand as a Caribbean island...complete with endless shells and shark teeth to hunt for on the sandy shores! Our kids loved the beach treasures!!!. We cooked most nights, but also biked to restaurants (The Island Cow,Bubble room). Having the bar area plus the dining room table for family meals gave us a lot of space. With bikes rented from Finnimore Cycle Shop for the week it was easy to ride up to Captiva and ride around Ding Darling Nature Preserve. Easy access to the canal with calm waters which made it easy to kayak and Paddle board (while we were kayaking we encountered a pretty big gator) also the pools and equipment rentals kept everyone active. One day we had awesome time fishing with captain Dave from Andrews Fishing. The dolphins were hanging out around the boat. Came close and got great pics.( We couldn't recommend this house and location more highly and we hope to be able to return in the future."

  • We enjoyed an AMAZING stay on Sanibel Island at Sanibel Siesta (unity 404)!

"For the second year in a row, we enjoyed a lovely stay on Sanibel Island at Sanibel Siesta! Unit 404 was even closer to the beach than the unit we stayed in last year!! We appreciated being only steps from the water and enjoyed the sand toys and Boogie Boards with our son. The view from the lanai off the master bedroom was beautiful. We look forward to going back again....summer 2017 won't come soon enough!!"
