  • Perfect Gem!!

"This perfect condo located directly on the beach was the exact space we needed for our family of 4 adults. The 2 bedrooms and surpringly comfortable pullout sofa were great as was the wall of screened doors allowing us to enjoy the spectacular view as we dined. We wanted to eat most meals in the condo to hurry back to the beach and heated pool. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare meals and serve in style. The condo complex was quiet but warm. We met lovely people from 2-90 years old at the pool. We especially appreciated the beach towels and chairs and shell nets provided by the owner of our unit. Sanibel activities were easily accessible. We rented bikes (which were delivered directly to the property) and fishing gear. There were many fun resteraunts to choose from and we even enjoyed crab races at night. By far our favorite activity was watching the beautiful sunsets from the condo or steps away on the beach. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!!"

  • Amazing condo on Sanibel Island

"This was our first visit to Sanibel Island. The condo at Sundial Resort was perfect for my husband and I. The island was very quaint with so many choices for excellent meals!"

  • Fantastic Condo and Stay!

"Our family has rented this unit for nine years now. My young grandson was 5 months old during his first stay here. He is now 8 years old and told me that we can NOT stay at any other condo...ever! So out of the mouths of babes...this condo is superb. Our entire family loves this condo. We are looking forward to our tenth anniversary stay! Working with the owner is a pure delight. She is most accommodating and caring. The unit speaks for itself in the photos...yet, the condo is more gorgeous in person. The Gulf view from the large lanai is inspirational...where I do a lot of writing. The furniture on the condo is beautiful and comfortable. Everything is convenient within the unit...laundry room, current appliances, beautiful kitchen/work area. Bedrooms are nicely decorated and comfortable...the whole place envelopes you with a warm and inviting welcome each time you enter it. The pool is great...well maintained and lots of furniture to lounge in as the kids swim. The pathway to the beach is short and sweet...giving you a view of the natural state of the island and then miles and miles of a sandy beach filled with endless seashells. The condo has a beach storage enclosure filled with beach chairs and pool items. The island offers all kinds of activities and this condo is close to the hub of the island. I highly recommend this unit to everyone; the owner is a gem to work with at all times."

  • Great relaxing beach condo

"This condo is pretty much as advertised in the listing. We just completed a one week stay. I could tell it's been a rental unit for awhile since it is generally well stocked. I found the owner to be very responsive. There are two reasons I would think this condo would drive a premium over other condos around. First, the view is great - 180 degree unobstructed ocean views. Second, the condo is bigger than most, and really is more of a 3 bedroom 2 bath unit. The unit has a large (I estimate 26' long) porch/lanai that opens to the large master bedroom and living area. It is on the 2nd floor but the building has an elevator, making it easily accessible. The bathrooms have been refreshed in the past 10 years, as has the kitchen. The kitchen appliances are older but functional. The furnishings have been well cared for too. We had good luck renting bikes from Finnimores and they will also drop off/pick up. The beach is easy to access and not too crowded. There's a sand bar off the coast so the waves are generally tame in this area with no noticeable currents. It's very quiet and peaceful. Sanddollar is a meticulously maintained complex with a well behaved renter population (it seemed to generally be families and empty nesters/older couples). It's an older medium density complex and all units have ocean views. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend it!"
