  • Terrific view - terrific condo - terrific handicap access

"Sanibel has been my favorite Florida location since moving to the state 20 years ago and Sanddollar C201 is now my favorite place to stay. The front row seat for the water view was wonderfully relaxing - we had many a meal outside (a fan there helped with the heat). I use a fairly large power chair and had no problems navigating most of the condo as the furniture arrangement and most doorways did not impede movement. Only areas not accessible were the guest bedroom, guest bath and front balcony. Rubber threshold ramps made getting into the condo and onto the screened lanai easy. The master bath was especially accessible - best roll in shower I've ever used and I particularly appreciated the cut out in the vanity where I could get close to the sink with my chair. Since I have a large chair, the width of the master bath was a little close but certainly doable - and the only area that was the least bit tight. We do a lot of cooking while on vacation and found the kitchen very well-equipped. In fact, everything was well-equipped (down to a hair dryer in each bathroom!). Lots of games and books. The condo's owners were very responsive and helpful. Probably the best recommendation comes from my husband who usually is ready to go home after three days - he'd have gladly extended his stay after a week."

  • Great Experience

"Location is excellent. Beautiful view of ocean and beach from screened in balcony. Within walking distance of Lighthouse Cafe, excellent lunch and breakfast. Easy walk to beach on boardwalk with a place to rinse off your feet. Beach is great, especially at low tide. Great shells. Sandbar fun to walk out to. Unit is clean and somewhat dated. Kitchen is well stocked. My family of five slept comfortably: two adults on master queen, two kids in second bedroom in singles, and my son on pull out couch, which is not very comfortable but tolerable. Master shower is very large and fun for two people. AC works fine. Bike rentals were free and available, although about half the bikes were in disrepair, so you have to choose carefully. There is a shuffleboard court on the way to the pool. This was the nicest shuffleboard court I've ever played on and was a great surprise. The pool also surpassed my expectations, it is very large, heated, temperature was perfect, very clean, and lounge chairs were abundant and comfortable. The unit is on the 3rd floor so you have to be in shape to keep walking up and down the stairs, but it's good exercise. Unit is completely quiet at night. Slept great. Sand toys for kids in the unit. Overall this rental surpassed my expectations and was an excellent value."

  • ANOTHER GREAT FISHING TRIP

"This is our 3rd year staying at Mariner Ponite # 231.....as usual , the condo was clean and comfortable and the fishing predictable, although we caught more sheepshead than usual, very few snappers and only a few black tip sharks. Weather was hotter then I expected , but we usually visit in May. The gulf beaches had bath like temperatures so we did spend more time at the pool which was only a few steps from the condo.......will be back next year looking for that big one , once again !"

  • Excellent Condominium, Great Owners

"Absolutely beautifully and tastefully decorated, larger two bedroom unit in a top notch condominium facility. The unit is on the second floor, which allows you to see over the dunes to the ocean. There is an elevator in the building. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need, with the exception of spices. Quality newer appliances, including a washer & dryer. You absolutely can't go wrong with this one!"
