  • Perfect location and amenities for all ages

"We vacationed here on Spring Break (2 adults and 4 kids aged 11-15). It was our first time in Sanibel. Pointe Santo (PS) is at a great location, and our kids loved biking (rented bikes for the week from Billy's) all over the Island. PS is located right by the Tarpoon Bay Rd, so easy to get to the main drag. The views from our second floor were amazing. Each condo had a great view. The only disappointments were #1 No-See-Um bugs at dawn and dusk. We all came home with bad bites! Not sure if this is all the time, but stinks you can't be out on the beach at dusk to watch the beautiful sunsets and not get eaten alive! #2- two days of our vacation there were these black annoying bugs on the beach. They didn't bite, they just landed on you and stayed. They were even at the pool. Again, just lasted 2 days. No one seemed to know what they were, but annoying. The condo was spacious and enough room for us all (the pictures on here are old. The master had new bedding and the living room not this furniture). My only complaint was the counter tops were new, and appliances were old. The refrigerator had side holders that were missing the shelving, so you couldn't put condiments, etc. on the side door. The stove was dated as well, but worked. Overall, I would recommend Pointe Santo for any family. The volleyball, and all different age groups at the beach is fun for everyone! The shelling is awesome too. Lots of restaurant options. Our favorite was the Island Cow, and for breakfast, Over Easy Café."

  • Sanibel with kids/grandkids

"6d was a great condo to rent. We enjoyed the closeness to the beach. The only things that needs improved is the Internet.........very, very, very slow:("

  • Beautiful condo!

"We just returned from a wonderful week and I would highly recommend it to others!! It was only my husband and I this time, but you could definitely take up to six people (as long as two don't mind sleeping on the sleeper sofa) and you would have plenty of room. The inside of the condo is beautiful and has everything you will need for your stay. We enjoyed the quiet of this complex as there are only 14 units and so we never had any problem finding a chair at the pool or space to spread out on the beach no matter what time of the day we went to either. The owner has provided three bikes as well as lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for you to use - it was awesome! We definitely hope to return again!!"

  • One of our best family vacations ever!

"Our family has never taken strictly a beach vacation. We went from July 30th-August 6th. We were so sad to leave. The kids and all of us ranked it as one of our best vacations ever! The property was everything that was promoted on the site. The living space was plenty for our family of 5. My 15 year old daughter took the one bedroom and my twin 11 year old boys slept on the trundle bed. Everything we needed from beach towels, beach equipment, to kitchen equipment were provided. They provide 7 dishwasher tablets that were plenty and 7 washing machine tablets (we had to do a lot of laundry so we had to buy more). The one thing I would have loved to see in the condo would be a collapsable drying rack since not everything can't go in the dryer. The location from the condo, to the pool and to the beach were perfect. We did think about renting a wagon to haul things back and forth, but ended up doing it ourselves. Our family fell in love with shelling. There were shelling nets in the condo, but we ended up buying some more and leaving it there. We also bought shelling bags at the local grocery store Jerry's. The kids loved going from the beach to the pool as did the adults! They have crafting for the kids if you sign up by the pool. If we ever had a question, Evan was quick to respond and so was the staff when we needed batteries for our thermostat. We were in a perfect location. We ate out at the Bubble Room(Over priced and not that great. Just go for the amazing cakes!), Lazy Flamingo (decently priced american food), Matzaluna (good priced Italian) and Pinocchio's for great ice cream! We went for crab racing at the Crow's Nest in Captiva (food fine, crab racing a blast). Shopping was down the street at Periwinkle Place and the plaza before it. We did have to visit the Sanibel Walk-In Clinic for my son's sting on the arm and they were great. They gave us prescriptions right there! We had other excursions planned for the week since we are the type to be on the go, but ended up scrapping plans, because we couldn't leave the beach and pool! Thank you and we hope to be back again!"
