"6d was a great condo to rent. We enjoyed the closeness to the beach. The only things that needs improved is the Internet.........very, very, very slow:("

  • More than you will ever need!

"We were SO pleased with our condo choice! This condo not only is in a fantastic location on Sanibel but it has EVERYTHING that you can possibly need! To list a few (I'm sure I'll forget a bunch)- you have a washer/dryer in unit, LOTS of beach towels to use, TONS of beach toys and beach chairs, games for kids to play while relaxing in the unit, a pantry/fridge that are stocked with the basic condiments and seasonings (I recommend going to the unit to see what is there BEFORE going to the grocery store. I know that we left a bunch and also a bunch of drinks that we did not finish - others have obviously left a bunch also). The kitchen is fully stocked and if you cook (I sure didn't) you will have everything you need. The furnishings are very nice. The beds are extra comfy and we had fantastic sleep - which you often do not when your in a bed away from home. We did not need it but the unit has a crib and other boosters etc for kids. The lanai is so nice and being able to be out there to enjoy the weather without the bugs was a plus. I have never seen a sunrise and we took advantage of the great view three times during our stay. You must take the bikes for an early morning ride after that sunrise and go for a little ride to Baileys. Its about an hour round trip and will get the blood pumping early! (who am I kidding - we came back and took a nap before hitting the beach at 11). The beach chairs are fantastic. you put them in the waves and sit back and enjoy! It was in the low to mid 90s when I was there and I actually got a "chill" when a breeze blew. If tennis is your thing they have tennis rackets. We have no clue how to play but my husband and son had a blast seeing who could miss the ball the most. As I said I did not cook at all the week we were there (they were on their own for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch) - I highly recommend on Sanibel - Matzaluna (Italian) and Cheeseburger Cheeseburger. The shakes are FANTASTIC at CB CB! Try the blueberry cheesecake - YUMMM. On Captiva we love the Bubble Room, Mucky Duck and Captiva Cantina. If you go to Captiva stay for the sunset - its SO beautiful. Parking is limited up there but its worth the little aggravation. Long review but to make it short - you will not be disappointed if you rent this condo. The owners are very responsive and have created a condo that you and your family will have a fantastic vacation in! Can't wait to visit again."

  • Excellent

"This condo was very clean, plenty of room an was well supplied with what could possibly be needed for our stay. Screened in Lanai was wonderful. Very peaceful, laid back enviroment an is family oriented. Condo very convenient. Owner makes a great effort to make sure her guests are happy an satisfied with their unit an wants to make sure that the unit is what you expected. If you are a germ a phobe you must stay here. This is one of the cleanest most peaceful relaxing condos I have ever stayed in. Get any needed groceries at Jerry's located on island. If you are going to be out at night take bug sprays. We will definitely be back."

  • Spacious and well-located condo

"My family (me, my husband, 2 year old and infant) really enjoyed our Sanibel vacation in this condo. We loved that it was spacious and we had tons of room to spread out with our family of four. The location within the condo complex was unbeatable- very quick access to both the beach and pool and parking right outside the door. The beach and pool never felt crowded and we spent pretty much all day taking advantage of both. The beach equipment and toys were great. They were really well stocked, even including bike helmets and a trailer for the bikes. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of extra linens. It was so nice having the washer and dryer right in the unit, especially with two little kids. We made good use out of the pack and play and high chair. Overall, this is one of the best places for kids that we have stayed- having the little extras like a high chair goes such a long way when you are flying and don't want to bring a ton of stuff. We loved the big wall of windows in the living room. It was very hot during our stay in August, so we never really had them open, but during cooler months I think it would be amazing to have them open and hear the waves! We found the local realty firm that handles the check in/out to be very friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this unit, however there were some minor things that could have used some attention, like the tubs could be refreshed, some doorknobs and outlets were loose, and the accordion doors for the den were coming off the tracks and hinges were loose. But those were all minor things. One major downside we experienced was some very loud construction going on in the unit directly above. We found out they were doing a major renovation, including taking out the old flooring and putting in new floors, which made for quite the racket. On days that the crew was working (over half of the days we were there), the noise made it so we couldn't sleep in in the morning and it made it difficult to get our kids down for naps during the day due to the noise. That was the only really disappointing thing about our stay, but we recognized it was completely out of the owner's control and we were just unlucky. On the days they weren't doing construction, we found the unit to be very nice and quiet. Do I recommend staying here? Yes! Would I stay here again? I would love to!"
