  • Vacation In Paradise

"Our first visit to Sanibel was perfect. The condo was top of the line. It was equipped with all the conveniences of home and more. The view of the ocean was amazing. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Loved sleeping with windows wide open to enjoy the ocean breeze. Woke up each morning with the sun rising outside my window. The condo was decorated beautifully, roomy and very quiet. After a day on the beach collecting an array of shells, a stop at the pool topped off the day. Bikes were available for short rides around the island. Shopping and eateries are just a bike ride away. Enjoyed visiting the nature preserves and sunset cruises. There is so much to explore on the island. Weather was perfect for us. Top rating for this beautiful condo. Hope to escape the Northeast again next winter to recharge."

  • A beautiful condo on a wonderful island

"Sanibel is a wonderful destination for nature lovers and families: unspoiled nature and beaches, shells and birds, architecture respecting the landscape, biking as preferred mode of transportation. This condo is perfectly located next to one of the most beautiful stretches of beach on the island. It is within a short hiking/biking distance (1 mile) from the Sanibel Sea School, Pinocchio's ice cream parlor and the lighthouse - dream destinations for kids. 5-10 minutes driving distance to the Dunes Golf & Tennis, Jerry's grocery store and plenty of restaurants. 15 minutes to Ding Darling Wildlife Preserve and Tarpon Bay kayaking and sea tours. 30 minutes to Captiva Island. The unit itself is clean and nicely furnished in "island style". As mentioned by other reviewers, nice view of the pool and the gulf. Three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, very efficiently laid out."

  • Perfect location and amenities for all ages

"We vacationed here on Spring Break (2 adults and 4 kids aged 11-15). It was our first time in Sanibel. Pointe Santo (PS) is at a great location, and our kids loved biking (rented bikes for the week from Billy's) all over the Island. PS is located right by the Tarpoon Bay Rd, so easy to get to the main drag. The views from our second floor were amazing. Each condo had a great view. The only disappointments were #1 No-See-Um bugs at dawn and dusk. We all came home with bad bites! Not sure if this is all the time, but stinks you can't be out on the beach at dusk to watch the beautiful sunsets and not get eaten alive! #2- two days of our vacation there were these black annoying bugs on the beach. They didn't bite, they just landed on you and stayed. They were even at the pool. Again, just lasted 2 days. No one seemed to know what they were, but annoying. The condo was spacious and enough room for us all (the pictures on here are old. The master had new bedding and the living room not this furniture). My only complaint was the counter tops were new, and appliances were old. The refrigerator had side holders that were missing the shelving, so you couldn't put condiments, etc. on the side door. The stove was dated as well, but worked. Overall, I would recommend Pointe Santo for any family. The volleyball, and all different age groups at the beach is fun for everyone! The shelling is awesome too. Lots of restaurant options. Our favorite was the Island Cow, and for breakfast, Over Easy Café."

  • Perfect Home In Paradise

"Mothers, aunts, sisters and cousins....we've been doing a girl's trip for about 10 years now. Over the years, we've grown accustom to big spacious homes and our own private pool. This house did not disappoint. The location was fabulous, the neighborhood friendly, the home was spacious, the pool was perfect and we especially loved the patio where we could stay up all night and talk. Typically when we travel, we find ourselves purchasing several amenities that are often wasted. There was no need to do that in this place. As other reviews have indicated, this home was well stocked with just about anything you can imagine. Although we didn't have any children along on this trip, this home is ideal for a vacation with lots kids. They had just about every kind of outdoor play activity available. The bonus...it's on Sanibel Island, which we always love! Highly recommend and enjoy!"
