  • Awesome Island! Awesome Cottege!

"Definitely reccomend staying at this cortège. My wife and I did a week on the island for our honeymoon and had a great time! Kurt was incredibly helpful and easy to work with and treated us very well! Highly reccomend renting Jetskis from Yolo. Also had a great time shelling and fishing from the bridge between Sanibel and captiva. The bikes at the cottege were a huge help and we spent an afternoon riding all over the island. I highly reccomend staying here and can't wait to go back again!"

  • Restful and Relaxing

"I returned home yesterday from a week-long vacation staying in this lovely condo at Blind Pass. This was our first trip to Sanibel, and the entire experience was wonderful. I first contacted the owners in October about renting during Xmas week, and they were very responsive. Once we settled on the price and other details, I was put in touch with the Blind Pass Condo office staff to handle the deposit. Note that the balance of the rental fee had to be remitted via check rather than credit card. We arrived on Christmas day in the early evening. Our keys and instructions were waiting for us as advised. I checked in with the office couple of days later, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The unit was very clean and well stocked. I've stayed in many beach condos over the years, and I've never seen one that provided as much. It was nice not to have to bring beach gear as chairs, towels, toys, shell colleting items, etc. as all were provided. We got a comfortable, down to earth feel from the unit and complex. While not a newer place, it was well maintained with beautiful vegetation, flora, and fauna. There were two tennis courts, grills, pool, canoes and kayaks, and a shell cleaning area. All was in great shape and working order. We wanted for nothing. The weather could not have been better, and we enjoyed getting up early to watch the sunrise and discover the shells that had been left overnight by the tide. We were there during peak season, but it did not seem crowded to us. The only time that we noticed was when we went out to eat. There was a wait almost every place that we went. Some were longer than others, but we did not mind. We ate at Grandma Dot's, The Green Flash, The Lazy Flamingo, and Cheeburger, Cheeburger. All were worth the wait. We took a sunset cruise from Captiva and also toured the Darling Nature Preserve. These excursions were not crowed. Our party contained two 50+ adult couples, and the unit's roommate floor plan ensured that everyone had their own space. There was plenty of room. The screen porch was nice, and we liked eating breakfast at the table or reading in the afternoon. It was very relaxing and quiet. I would definitely recommended this unit and Blind Pass Condos. If you are looking for a place that is a bit removed from the hub-bub of Sanibel-Captiva, but still close enough to join in (if you desire), this is it. Thank you for a super vacation."

  • Sanibel newcomer

"This condo was very nice and had everything we needed for a very comfortable vacation. The location on the island was convenient to the beach and other amenities. We were very close to restaurants, shopping and in the middle to travel either east to the lighthouse or to travel north west to Captiva. The beach is private and not crowded. Sunsets were breathtaking. This was our first time on Sanibel and we would definitely come back and stay here."
