  • Location, location, location!

"We loved this property! It worked perfectly for our family get together. We needed a place to stay for a ceremony at my daughters college, we came from New York and both sets of our parents were able to be there and participate. We were all so comfortable in the house! Peter was so helpful, sending us a plethora of information on the area. The house was stocked with everything you would need! There were also little touches that were much appreciated, such as soaps and paper towels and shampoo, a welcome note, and a small gift, which was very thoughtful. We kayaked in the canal, enjoyed the hot tub, fished from the dock, used the provided beach chairs and towels when we visited all the beaches within 30 minutes. Siesta key, Holmes beach, Bradenton beach, Anna Maria island, shell beach, Venice beach, Nokomis beach and I'm sure there are more but we only were there for a long weekend. We enjoyed coffee in the screened in lanai in the morning sunshine. There was plenty of seating for when we had guests over for a backyard BBQ. There were so many fish in the canal and a lot of different birds to watch. We would definitely love to visit here again! Thank you Peter for making our visit such a wonderful memory for our family! • Comfortable and relaxing

"Great condo! Would rent again. Very comfortable, felt at home. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Beach towels and chairs to use were a great bonus. Beautiful Siesta Key Beach very close! The kids also enjoyed the pool. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Susan was great to work with. Thank you!"

  • Loved this cozy place! Minutes from everything.

"My wife and I stayed here for 10 days. We will definitely be going back! The house is really cozy with a fully stocked kitchen. One of our favorites was the back yard, we were super happy with the privacy and relaxing atmosphere with the sitting area and view of the garden with a nice palm tree and landscaping, it really has a Florida atmosphere in every way. Also, the location of the property was absolutely perfect! Sarasota city is a great place to visit, with great shopping and outdoor restaurants. In addition, the Seista Key beach is super close. We loved the free beach parking, food was really reasonable with great drink prices. But the most outstanding is the white sand, absolutely amazing sand! Thanks Elam & Rosanna for opening your home, we'll be back!"

  • Great long weekend!

"We stayed here for the Labor Day Weekend (also my birthday weekend). I found it on VRBO, but couldn't find a lot of pictures. I sent an email to the owner about more pictures, if the place was available for the days we wanted and what the full price would be. Julie responded in less than an hour and gave me all of the information I had requested and a little more. I liked that because I can't stand sending a thorough request for information and receiving tid bits back. I decided to book it and she sent me the agreement via email. Due to the storm closing in, my boyfriend was very worried that we would not have power or that there would be a lot of flooding. I contacted Julie and asked how the conditions were and if she would please let us know if there were going to be any issues with our stay. Of course she said she would and when we arrived at 7:00pm, Friday night, there was standing water in certain places (as to be expected), but everything was as described. We stayed in Gulf Breeze, which was on the 2nd floor (I knew that ahead of time). The place was very quaint and cute. We had a very small balcony seating area, which we really liked. The kitchen had new appliances and even a dishwasher. It was small, but for 2 people it was perfect. The rest of the place was not as modern as the kitchen, but it was very clean and cozy. The only two drawbacks were, the window in the bathroom does not have a curtain, so I was sure people could see me in the shower, lol. The place does not have central air. There is a large window A/C unit in the living room area and a smaller unit in the bedroom. I might have missed this on the description, not sure. But the 2 of them did the job at keeping it cool, so it wasn't that big of a deal for me. The bathroom did get very warm after someone showered with the door shut. So we just left it open and that seemed to do the trick. They provide you with a beach cart, so that you can load up and go across the street to the beach. That was nice to have and not have to bring ours. Towels and even beach towels were provided, so you don't have to bring wet towels home. There is also a laundry room onsite (not in your room), but it was convenient. The other folks that were staying there were very friendly. It was a very pleasant stay and we would totally stay there again. If you are a couple, Gulf Breeze would be a great room to get."
