  • I recommend this cottage! 5 stars!

"Best location in town. Quiet residential street with tall mature oak streets lining the street. White Christmas lights wrapped around lamp posts leads you to Main Street.- enchanting! Clean, bright, cheery and outfitted very well. The rear yard was private and quiet- perfect for star gazing after walking to dinner and a show. I wish I lived there...."I'll Be Back"!"

  • My Happy Place

"This property is everything the write-up says it is and more. It was our Shangri-La, an oasis of tranquillity set in a quaint historic neighbourhood and now my happy place. The vibe here is great. It just makes you feel relaxed and connected. I loved the touches throughout the cottage. Others have stated this, but it bears repeating, the owners have a great eye for detail and have pulled together a lovely and inviting space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The landscaping is lush and bountiful! We picked fresh ripe fruit from the trees on the property. The laurel oaks in the spacious backyard are enormous by my standards, yet there was still so much sun shining through for those who wanted to sunbathe and splash in the pool or do early morning yoga on the deck. At night the property is aglow with up-lit trees and flora that add to the whole ambience and makes for an intimate al fresco dining experience with the ones you love. Everything that we could have wanted for our stay was here. The owners left great information to make our stay effortless and enjoyable. It was worth the quick read. The Kitchen's had everything we could have needed or wanted. The two dining areas (three if you consider the table on the deck) were perfect depending on your mood and the weather. All the bedrooms and baths were very nice too. Even the outdoor shower came in very handy! There was more than enough closet space for us. The beds were wonderfully comfy and supportive for a great nights sleep. We were lucky at night the weather cooperated so that we could have our windows open and it was surprisingly quiet and very restful. I have to say that this is the perfect place for a creative soul or one who wants to immerse themselves in the arts. There are galleries, live theatres, movie theatres and an opera house all within walking distance. And for those who love to shop and support great local merchants, this town has some of the best shopping for all budgets that I've seen. We are looking forward to planning our next visit back to this very special place. It's the perfect place to relax, recharge and just enjoy life."

  • Beautiful in Every Way!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Carriage House. Stephanie made us feel welcome even before we arrived! The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved walking through the neighborhood that had so much character and charm, to Burns Court for an evening at Owen's Fish Camp, over to the Selby Botanical Garden (which was fascinating), to the Bay and marina area. On our next visit we plan to be here for the Saturday Market!"
