  • Amazing vacation in a wonderful townhouse

"This was our family's 3rd stay at Barbara's townhouse and we just love it! Everything is exactly as described and the beach is so close by. The house was super clean and has everything you would need in your own home. We made use of the beach chairs that were provided in the outdoor storage area and the outdoor shower was great to rinse off the sand. Kitchen is fully stocked with great cookware and having the washer and dryer right there is such a plus when you are having to wash swim suits and beach towels all the time! We are already planning our stay for next July."

  • Secluded island paradise

"John's place is awesome! Perfect getaway for any family. There is plenty of privacy if you want to come with another couple or keep the in-laws downstairs in the separate apartment. Upstairs has a king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a full bathroom. The house is stocked with towels and all of the kitchen essentials you could need. There is a nice screened in porch with a table for 4 and porch swing to relax on after a day at the beach. There are also toys for the kids and movies to watch. A bouncy seat and pack and play are available to use as well. You should rent John's golf cart at least for a day to explore the entire island but you can easily walk to the bay side and the beach because of it's great central location. Everyone on the island is super friendly and there are no cars to worry about. We felt totally safe setting the kids free on their own to walk to the docks to fish or to go walk on the beach to look for sharks teeth. The beach has beautiful sunsets and you are sure to see plenty of manatees and dolphins. John lives close by and can help with anything you may need. There is a water taxi service available ($) if you need to run to the grocery store or go explore someplace on the mainland but reservations are a must for this service. John brought us across on his boat much cheaper than the water taxi and he was a lot of fun! I'd recommend going with John if he is available. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone. Thanks!"

  • Very beautiful property with beach access

"This unit had everything needed to make one feel at home. For the first few days, my son and his family were with me, and there was adequate room for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and everything was in great working order. The owner had even left some condiments. The deck overlooked the water, and it was possible to watch the sunset from the unit, although most evenings I went to the beach. The patio by the water was nicely maintained, but it could use some more lawn chairs. There was definitely "hogging". The pool was kept at a great temperature. Even on cold days, it could be used. I thought it was a beautiful unit and condominium and enjoyed the beach access daily. Would definitely consider renting again."

  • A perfect seaside condo

"I stayed here with a good friend in Oct. and we are so glad we picked this peaceful place. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the screened balcony and found the location perfect for exploring Sanibel. The condo had everything you could ever need and more. The bedding, towels etc and kitchen facilities were the best we ever had anywhere. It was completely quiet at night. The beach in front of the condo was perfect for shelling and strolling. Location for exploring was very central."
