  • Wonderful Month in the Sun

"For the second year, Tim and Flor hosted us in their beautiful home. We have stayed in a number of VRBO homes and by far, Tim and Flor have been the most hospitable. After a long drive from the north, we arrived to a bottle of wine, cheese, crackers and fruit. Everything that we could possibly need was in the house--Tim and Flor have thought of everything. The location of this house is wonderful. The quiet neighborhood and the dead end street make sitting on the swing in the front, so peaceful at the end of the day. The lanai at the back of the house provide a great place for breakfast every morning. The house is also easily accessible to the many beaches in the area--Siesta Key, Turtle Beach, Nakomis, Lido and Coquina (our new found favorite). We are looking forward to a return visit to Sarasota and staying with Tim and Flor again."

  • Great for a family/friend getaway

"Our family of four plus a friend stayed very comfortably in this home, which is conveniently located to almost everything Sarasota has to offer. Michal Ann made sure everything was ready for our arrival, including a great assortment of breakfast items, and was available if we needed anything. During our four night/five day stay, we visited New College, Ringling Museum, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Siesta Key, and the nearby Amish neighborhood. We also took a day trip to St. Petersburg to visit the Dali Museum. The home is older, but has all the needed updates including excellent wifi, laundry facilities, etc. Would definitely stay again!"

  • Loved staying here!

"This is our first stay at Sunset Suite, and we loved it. The screened porch was the perfect place for reading, conversation, having a meal or a cup of coffee, or simply relaxing. Of course, being so close to the beach is fantastic, and morning walks along the shore are my favorite part of being in Lido Beach. The neighborhood is very quiet, yet a short walk will take you to St Armand's Circle, which is full of activity, great shops and restaurants - and with no worries about parking! It is also close to Sarasota, and we were able to see several theater productions during our stay. Julie is very accommodating and the unit is clean and well-taken care of. It is also well-stocked with plenty of linens, pots and pans, dishes, etc. It was cozy and comfortable, yet spacious enough with two bedrooms to have some privacy. Loved the wood floors and the look of the stone fireplace. I only wish that I could have stayed longer. I am really looking forward to returning!"

  • Relaxing and awesome

"My husband and I enjoyed staying at this rental for the month of March 2017. It's a welcoming three bedroom home with a number of amenities that make the stay that much better. The community of Lido Shores has a beautiful private access beach, and is a close bicycle ride away from St. Armand's Circle. Thanks"
