  • Great place to stay

"This house was very nice. I was very impressed. I would stay here again for sure. Everything was provided. Nice neighborhood and the bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. Stocked up and we cooked the whole time to save on money. Recommending this place to anyone who has kids also. Plenty to do."

  • Room to relax!

"Five adults and a baby enjoyed this spacious Florida home. The neighborhood was perfect for us, as we have family living less than a mile away. The area is quiet, peaceful…the action is close enough when you are ready for it and this is a nice retreat. Great to be able to pull the car into a garage (with automatic opener), keeping it out of the heat, and keeping us dry during the brief but intense summer downpours. The nice open layout was good for some elderly family members, just be careful on the nice tile floors when you come in from the pool, naturally they are quite slippery when wet. Having that pool right there in the backyard, enclosed in the pool “cage” was so convenient. It was well-maintained and everyone enjoyed it. The spa was ok, spas having their natural drawbacks. We used the gas grill once, it was reasonably clean and intact. The fully-fenced backyard was nice to walk the baby through, looking at flowers/foliage. It is a real Florida backyard, so grass is thin and there is a lot of sandy soil and ants. The pool deck had lots of seating options for reading, drying out, sunbathing and eating outside. There were even a few folding chairs if you wanted to go out beyond the pool cage. The house has a lot of windows, especially in the living room/family room/kitchen, which lends a bright and cheery feel. I loved this, but we had to get creative to get the bedroom dark enough for baby. It was great to have two king-sized beds. They were comfortable. Very good closet/dresser space in both bedrooms. Queen-size pull-out sofa was about what you’d expect. Air conditioning worked well, nice to have ceiling fans. Kitchen was huge, and had a bit of everything we needed in terms of cookware, serveware etc. Seating for six at the large quirky dining table, plus two more at bar stools at the counter. We really were glad to have the washer/dryer in the garage. There were more than enough bath and beach towels for the six of us, which is saying a lot! It was good to find some pool toys/beach toys in the garage, we added a few to the collection when we left. Never met Monika, but she was easily available, just a text or phone call away. A very comfortable place to come “home” to, spread out and relax."

  • Modern Contempory Condo in a great location

"This condo is in one of the newest buildings in Siesta Key. The condo is exactly as described. Lots of space for one or two couples. The open kitchen, living room and dining room mean you never feel crowded. Extra ordinary large deck with view of the Gulf and pool. The condo ,like the building ,is very well maintained. Peter the owner, the rental agency and John the building manager are all very responsive to any little request. The reservation and check in process is seamless. You have total confidence you are always in good hands. Restaurants, groceries ,entertainment and even a fresh fish store are all only a minutes walk away. Combine all this with the Number 1 beachintheUS and you can't help but have a great vacation."

  • Very nice, cozy home in quiet location!

"The bottom line: A very serious, trustworthy and helpful owner of a very nice home, cozy home in a quiet neighborhood! This was our first time using HomeAway to book a vacation, and the experience could have not been better and easier. Thanks Peggy! Peggy (the owner) has been great person to deal with (quick responses/personal follow up/great recommendations). Furthermore she is a very trustworthy and made it easy to deal with her. The house is nicer than what you can see in the pictures. Everything is renovated and everything works. It is as simple as that. The screened pool/patio with a nice grill was a real plus. We really enjoyed it. In addition, the house had a very good central AC (good it is hot is Sarasota in late June/early July), great high speed Wi-Fi, good cable service and a very secure property in a quiet location. If you are looking for a quiet and cozy home near the Ringling college of Art and incredible Ringling Museum, this is the one! It is also conveniently located within a mile+ from downtown and just 1.5mi+ from Lido Key. Thanks Peggy. You made our first visit to Sarasota a great and memorable time. We will definitely come back! CT Family"
