  • Super close to the beach, clean house

"This home was very clean in the inside, but the outside of the home needed a lot of maintenance. As I arrived at the home I thought I was in the wrong place because there were toys, chairs in the outside, It looked like someone was living there but then I realized that I obviously was in the correct place. The pool area was a little dirty as well, the pool itself was very clean but the surrounding (where the pool stuff and toys were was dirty). The front specially needs some work, you couldn't really past to the front door because the little tree (that is on the picture) was super long and the bushes were in the way of the entrance. Also it does have a barbecue area, but it was very dirty as well, We couldn't use the grill because it was so dirty. That was the only reason I do not give this home 5 stars. Also as soon as I walked in saw a HUGE cockroach in the entrance, (not a big deal) but the kids were super afraid, other than that the house its self was pretty clean, and I felt comfortable, we did not see anymore cockroaches after that. I loved having to not share the pool area (the house has two parts to it, the house and the side has a little apartment complex) When we stayed the apartment side had no tenants, but I am not sure if the house shares the pool when their are tenants there. Other then that I loved the house, super clean, super spacious, the pool was clean, the rooms are huge, and I loved the private beach access it gave us. The house is literally like 10 steps from the beach ( my favorite part). Also, the owners were super responsive to my questions and needs and I am thankful for that. If I ever stay at siesta key I would def stay here, since I know the house and how close it is to the beach"

  • fabulous villa minutes from the beach

"A fantastic villa with a fantastic location. All the facilities you need for a perfect family holiday. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The property is clean and well maintained. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. The pool is a good size and is perfect for afternoon sun. The proximity to the beach is a big bonus."

  • Excellent family villa

"Our family (two adults, 3 children (12, 10 & 8) had a wonderful relaxing stay at this villa after two weeks in Orlando. The villa was well stocked, with everything we could need to make our stay feel like home from home. The beach and village are easily accessible and the canal side setting with kayaks and canoes for the children to enjoy was a real bonus. Mimi was great to deal with, on hand when required and attentive without being intrusive. We hope to return for another dose of relaxation Siesta Key style.......maybe next year?"

  • Best view on Siesta Key

"The sweeping beach views from every room in the house, plus the location within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops in Siesta Key Village made for a most relaxing and memorable family vacation! We liked the layout of the house, with the bedrooms upstairs and away from the living space. The kitchen is well equipped, and the very large flat panel wall-mounted TV in the living room was great for "movie nights". There's a Weber gas grill on the deck outside the kitchen which we used and enjoyed. The garage contained an assortment of beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, toys, etc. which saved us from making our usual trip to a store buy these items. This house is an excellent choice if you're looking for a place where you can just park the car for the duration of your vacation, and walk a very short distance to a great variety of restaurants, shops, and stores (only 0.2 miles to the Daiquiri Deck restaurant/bar!). Being on the northern end of the island, you also have a short and easy drive to Marina Jacks, St. Armands Circle, and other points of interest near downtown Sarasota. Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home, and we'll certainly be coming back in future years."
