"Great location Walked to beach and village. Great pool Took advantage of grilling area and tables instead of eating out"

  • Some minor setbacks but overall a good time

"We had a great time in Siesta Key! The house is in a superb location- about 3 blocks from "downtown" and just a few blocks to the beaches. The beds are comfy, AC works great, there was plenty of room for all 9 of us, and lots of books, toys and play areas for our baby. We had fun playing in the pool, taking the kayak out on canal explorations, riding bikes, and cooking dinners at home. The kitchen is set up a little funky- there are 2 kitchens and the oven is on the 2nd floor but the fridge, dish ware and most of the rest of the kitchen is on the first, so if you are baking anything be prepared for some back and forth. We were a little disappointed that the jetted tub didn't jet and the jacuzzi didn't get hot since we were looking forward to unwinding in a hot bath or pool. There was also a plumbing problem that occurred, but the owner was quick to send out an emergency plumber to fix it. It seemed like maybe it was a recurring problem and caused one of the downstairs bathrooms to be off limits for the rest of the stay. Luckily there were 3 other bathrooms to choose from. If you need a downstairs shower, check on this issue before booking, since the other downstairs option is a bathtub (which didn't work for my handicapped Grandmother). Don, the owner, was very easy to work with and was gracious with our issues and helpful in resolving them. The castle could use some updates and deep cleaning in areas, but overall, a great value for the prime location and for a house of this size. We had a really fun time all in all!"

  • A very nice place.

"Tracy, Your place was great. Enjoyed the view and the easy access to the beach. I have no complaints. If you are interested in my opinion on what make your place even more appealing, here it is: 1. supply beach chairs 2. supply a beach umbrella 3. supply beach towels......these 3 are not something that people can pack and with your place it is obvious that people want to be at the beach. The beach chars were under $10.00 and so what if they only last a few years. 4. I would have appreciated better directions. The buildings are not clearly marked as "A" building, so I had trouble finding my way...especially at night. 5. The arrangement of how/where to get in as opposed to where to park later was confusing. Perhaps consider mailing keys a week in advance so people can just park out front and come straight into the right building from day one. I hope you find this helpful. Gary"

  • Fantastic place to stay !

"This is our third trip to Siesta Key and this condo! We absolutely love it here! Beautiful home! Well maintained! Quiet! Prime location allows easy accessibility to either the main village or to major highway that leads to many nearby tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping !! Beach access just across the street (5 min. walk) ! So relaxing! I would highly recommend this condo for a perfect vacation spot on beautiful Siesta Key!"
