  • Very Cozy and Steps away from the Beach

"We stayed four days in the unit. The unit was clean and stocked with necessary toiletries ,bath towels, cookware, flatware, and serve ware. The unit has cable TV. We enjoyed our stay in the unit. The beach was steps away. The check in was easy. The concierge desk provided us with the best places to eat. The Siesta Key village is adorable. The outlet mall in Ellenton, FL is 25 minutes away. We did not encounter any big issues. Some of the downsides were people were not that friendly around town, we thought it was because of our color, but that it the way some of people are. The king size bed was a firm mattress, we prefer more of a softer mattress. We did not get a good night sleep on the mattress. The comforters need to be replaced. They are bit itchy. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

  • Best of Everything

"We have visited the Gulf Coast several times and we finally found the right combination of the best beach, a great location and a great condo. The unit was just as advertised with a well-supplied kitchen, beach equipment and a computer with Internet access. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the balcony which overlooks the Intercoastal Waterway. There is quite a bit of traffic particularly on the weekends and at times dolphins appear. Siesta Key advertises that it is the #1 beach and it is warranted. We went swimming each morning and the Gulf was always calm, the beach very gradual and the sand perfect. Though we had a car, it is not necessary. There is a grocery store, drug store and other shops and restaurants close by. We enjoyed eating at Miguels, a French restaurant owned by a Spaniard with culinary training in France. The food was excellent and it is an amazing value compared to French restaurants in city-centers. My wife in particular fell in love with the beach and the décor of this unit. We would definitely enjoy a return trip."

  • 2nd year in a row in this wonderful unit

"This is the second year in a row that we stayed in this unit, and in between our stays, the owner upgraded the kitchen, which is beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked with probably every utensil, appliance, pots, pans, etc. that you would ever need. The unit is very clean, and the bedding and furniture still feel and look brand new. The owner is very nice and has always replied very quickly with any question I have had. My previous review has more details, but to clarify, the master bedroom has a partial gulf view and partial pool view, but the view of both the gulf and the pool are mostly obstructed from the enclosed lanai due to the many lush palm trees on the pathway leading to the pool outside below the lanai, but it is a very nice tropical view. The pool is a large saltwater pool, which is nice because you come out feeling relatively clean and there is no smelly chlorine. The grounds are very well kept. There are stairs near the unit and lead to the unit’s covered parking spot. The washer/dryer and elevator are down the hall. Outside the elevator, there was a shopping cart and luggage cart which is helpful on move in/move out day with luggage, and after a trip to Publix (just over the bridge, about 5 minutes away) with lots of groceries. The huge deck with BBQ grills near the beach is great, and it has a covered section with tables and chairs. There was a massive meteor shower while we were there mid-August, and my family went out onto this deck at 5 am until dawn, and saw 20-30 meteors overhead! Siesta Key is well known for it’s fine white powdery sand, and even in the August sun and heat, it never got hot and was very comfortable to walk on it barefoot. If you are an early riser, walking on the beach just after sunrise is beautiful – I even happened to witness a baby sea turtle that had just hatched, make it’s way to the water!"
