  • Memories to be Made

"Our stay at Villa Hermosa was wonderful. We visited Siesta Keys yr before while staying with friends and became enchanted with the area. From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to be comfortable. The furniture comfortable, kitchen a dream to cook in and the villa had many other amenities. There is so much to do in Siesta Key and surrounding area that one could never be bored. My husband would walk or ride one of the bikes across the road to Crescent Beach each morning and we went to the beach most nights to view the magical sunsets. I was suffering from knee bursitis making walking painful, but riding a bike less pain, so the bikes provided were great. Many times we didn’t need a car; the bicycles made transportation fun/easy. A road called Peacock Rd. runs parallel to the back row of villas of Vista Hermosa, half brick paved/ half pavement, w/beautifully lined oak trees. (Gain entry at sm white gate heading south on the Vista Hermosa circle, few yds from the villa.) It’s a private road, little traffic and when you come out to the beginning of the road you are at the marina many restaurants, PO, etc. Length is @half to three-quarter mile; @5-10 minutes on bike, @20-30 minute walk. We recommend Captain Curts and Sniki-Tiki Bar that are right next to each other, have the same famous Captain Curt’s chowder, similar food/drink menu with entertainment most nights. My fav is the Juicy Pirate drink! Another fav restaurant is Turtles Restaurant a couple miles south. They have a inexpensive but good brunch every Sunday. There is a community pool at Vista Hermosa that services the villas. We met some lovely people there. Many return each year and know each other, so the atmosphere was friendly and everyone very helpful to us newbies. Pool is heated and was so wonderful to go for quick swim or with a book for the afternoon. We recommend renting a boat from Marina Bayfront Excursions, next door to Turtles Rest. Very reasonable, especially if splitting costs with another couple. We had friends visit us and had a wonderful 4 hrs boating/swimming/picnicking on the coast @$100 each couple. OK, so that’s all of my travel insight, but the other part about this stay was communication with Dianne, the owner. She was wonderful to deal with and made sure any concerns/needs were met. Answering all texts/emails promptly, making our stay so very memorable. We would love to stay again and highly recommend Vista Hermosa! Thank you so much Dianne!"

  • Excellent accommodations. Siesta Key is a wonderful destination and beach area.

"The resort and condo were very clean and nice. Close proximity to the beach. Had their own pool which was nice. Also very thoughtful and helpful to supply beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was excellent."

  • Wonderful spot and terrific hospitality

"My wife, two year old son, and I stayed here for a week and had an amazing experience. We had never been to Siesta Key, but now we want to go back often, and staying at this condo was a big reason why. It is so convenient, and Sue has everything you need to hit the beach every day (coolers, umbrellas, toys, etc). The condo is super clean and comfortable with a nice balcony to hang out on and watch/hear the waves. It is modern and equipped with everything you need to be comfrtable. The beach is so peaceful and many nice and friendly people there to chat with. For children it is particularly great as it is a wide, safe place to let them roam a bit. The convenience of being able to walk back to the condo from the beach any time was so convenient.. Sunsets were wonderful, and it was a great place to meet folks....our son got his first kiss from a little girl he met at sunset one evening! The code system for entry was really nice too so you don't worry about losing keys!! The condo is perfectly situated to get to the quaint downtown part of Siesta Key for its nice shops and restaurants or head back out to the interstate. A really wonderful place, a really great condo, and a terrific hostess. Highly recommended."
