  • Excellent property, excellent location and excellent owner

"First, the condo itself is better than the pictures show, in my opinion. There is much more room than I thought. Two separate bedrooms, bathrooms, living room area, dining area and well equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. I didn't think we would use the washer and dryer, but we used it quite a bit. Hardwood floors were very nice and made it easier to clean daily so you don't constantly have that sand on the bottom of your feet feeling. That is the inside...outside, less than a minute walk to either pool or beach, access to gas or charcoal grills....Pool and beach have chairs you can use....condo had a couple more chairs and a beach umbrella. Other than sunscreen, soft side cooler...I don't think there was much, if anything we had to buy or bring to go to the beach. I really like SKOB (Siesta Key Oyster Bar)...Captain Curts was very touristy, but food was actually not bad. Turtles on Turtle beach was not good. The Seafood market next to 7-11 had OK grouper tacos. Their seafood market side was expensive, but the shrimp and mahi mahi were fresh...the Red Rock shrimp were awesome on the grill. The only problem with the area (in my opinion) is the lack of a beach front restaurant with a view with good food. Finally, the owner was fantastic. Excellent communication, very eager to help out and make sure you have everything you need. I felt like I was staying with family! If I was going to find anything negative to say at all (and I have to dig deep), I would say the knives in the kitchen need sharpening...they were really dull. And there were two nights that people in the neighboring property to the north were out and playing music and being very loud until well after midnight. You see security drive by every 10 minutes during daylight hours, I was a little disappointed that I had to call to ask that the neighbors be asked to quiet down."

  • Going to be great!

"Probably rented too soon. No pool the first week, heater inoperable. Replaced second week. No cleaning supplies in house (vacuum, broom, etc.). Brian gave my bride a broom and dustpan salvaged from a dumpster? Refurbishing several buildings next door so constant equipment running and trucks coming and going. No "package" to introduce us to the area. The tub drain didn't drain well at all LOL. All the above was an inconvenience but no big deal to us. Others might view these inconveniences more seriously. Overall it will be a really great rental. We had a fantastic two weeks. Thanks; The Christians"

  • Returning Guests and It's Still Amazing

"We are returning guests but it still has that amazing feeling when we walk into the condo. The open water view is awesome. There is always something new and exciting to watch on the water from manatees to yachts. We used the kitchen more this year and we found it stocked very well. We enjoyed the upgrades to the community especially the new paver walkways. The neighbors were welcoming too he asked us to join in the community tennis matches. We took the beach chairs from the unit and walked to the Gulf beach several times. We look forward to returning next year."
