  • Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

"This house was exactly what I expected and more! I went with a group of friends that rented the other portion of the house. It was clean with lots of personal touches that made our stay much more enjoyable. The main house has a great living space and kitchen space that allowed all of us to eat together and spend time together. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed to cook our meals, including can openers, bowls, serving platters, lots of utensils, baking dishes, cookie sheets, muffin tins, etc. There was nothing that we needed in the kitchen that we didn't have. There were even seasonings and spices, coffee and filters - you name it - it was there! There were books, board games, extensive cable channels and movies. Outside at the pool, there were umbrellas, tables, chairs, floats, noodles, lots of toys for kids, etc. The heated, saltwater pool was a nice touch. In the back storage, these owners provided everything we needed for the beach! Towels, chairs, umbrellas, carts, beach toys and even a cooler! Inside was sunblock and aloe care for your use! Outside in the laundry area, there is detergent, etc that makes it so convenient to keep on top of your laundry. There are restaurants within walking distance and a small but efficient market store. Also, the beach is really a fairly easy walk with about 3 blocks to the sand. I will most definitely be returning!"

  • WOW!!!!!

"We LOVE vacationing to Siesta Key and LOVE staying at this unit at the Seashell. We've stayed at Peppertree Bay, Aloha Kai and some others on the north side of the beach and can honestly say Seashell is the BEST and we won't stay anywhere else now! It's on the south side of Crescent Beach which is always very quiet and not as crowded compared to the bigger buildings and public beach. It's just steps away from Captain Curts (which has THE BEST clam chowder in the U.S.!) a grocery store, ice cream, bike rentals, nice souvineer shop, and a couple cute little bars along with quick and easy access to the main land with minimal traffic. I've been staying at this particular unit every year since 2007 before I had kids. Now we have 3 kids and it is still just as perfect and accommodates us all perfectly! This unit is on the 2nd floor which is nice for the young kids. It also has an elevator for the stroller which there is never any wait for it. The grounds are always beautifully kept and all of the maintenece and front desk people that we have seen/met are very warm and friendly. This unit is always clean and you can tell the owners take great pride because it is beautifully decorated, updated and fresh looking. It is right on the beach with a keyed gate that only people staying at Seashell have access to, so very private feeling. All in all, it's literally the best and we will continue to come back every year!"

  • Will Be Counting the Days till I go again!!!

"Siesta Key Dunes was such a beautiful place to visit. The condo and the grounds were super clean! Just a few steps to the Siesta Key Beach and you are literally in HEAVEN. I have never seen white sand like this in my life. We got to snorkel too which was a great experience in itself. There are 2 happening little restaurants down the street. And the food and company is just to die for. Very peaceful and surreal. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! Will definitely go again and again and again! ;)"

  • Good Location! Great Owner!

"My husband and I stayed for a week in September. The house is very clean and good location to the beach. Enjoyed the pool a few nights and had the pool to ourselves. It was off season, the community was very quiet we didn't see anyone all week. Felt secluded away from all the high rise condos, which is how we like to travel. You can walk to the beach through a complex across the street, so easy to take a walk on the beach from condo. If you want to take chairs, etc you can drive and park in the free beach parking. We didn't get to enjoy beach much, since it rained the week most of the week we stayed. It was nice to be able to walk to store if needed something or café for breakfast. A short drive to Siesta Village for dinner or to check out the few shops. It it also easy to go right over the bridge to Sarasota and amenities. The house is well equipped, and the owner is very friendly and helpful if you need anything during your stay."
