  • The Pratt's

"My wife and I had a great time on Holmes Beach! The condo was everything we had hoped and more. I felt at home the moment I walked through the front door. The condo had a very nice welcoming letter from the owners who added two bottles of wine for are enjoyment. The K cups also was very considerate also. We enjoyed the pool and the entire complex was maintain beautifully. The interior with two flat screen TV's and a awesome comfortable bed was amazing! As stated in the overview you do not need to bring much here but a smile for you will have a relaxing time! Looking forward to coming back next year!"

  • Our Second Stay, Perfect House, Perfect Location

"I've rented many homes in South Florida and this is one of my favorites. It is located directly on Captiva Beach and only a two minute walk to our favorite restaurant the Mucky Duck. Being from Kansas, when I stay here I don't feel like I'm in the US anymore. The layout of the home is ideal. With two bedrooms upstairs and a den on the lower level it was the perfect amount of personal space for a 10 and 17 year old. Having three full bathrooms is also a plus. With an additional air conditioning unit in the home you won't need to worry about the house becoming too hot during the day - which is typical in a lot of rental homes in South Florida. You have the option of indoor and outdoor dining rooms so you can enjoy every meal with a tropical view. Even the indoor dining room has floor to ceiling windows that open to enjoy the cool breeze after a midday rain. There are plenty of beach chairs, sand toys for the kiddos, and flotation devices. My only recommendation is for the property to have an umbrella. There were two during our first stay but none this time. My favorite parts of this stay were the beautiful sunsets and the evening visits from dolphins in this area. I look forward to when I'll come back to Captiva. I won't stay anywhere else."

  • Secluded getaway

"Lovely secluded property. Very clean & well equipped. Great place to unwind & recharge. Short drive to fab Gulf Coast beaches & grocery stores. We enjoyed the private pool & watching the local wildlife. The owners live nearby & were quick to respond to any queries. We would recommend this villa for a complete getaway."

  • Great location, great property

"Overall our group of five had a fantastic stay. Inside and out the property is as described and as per the photographs. Be aware that the property is spread over multiple floors (if stairs aren't your thing) but the view from the top is worth the climb. We found the location to be perfect, a quiet street but yards from a stop for the free trolley that runs the length of the island. Plenty of amenities within a short drive and walking distance to the AMI Beach Café for a cocktail and sunset views. The tropical planting gives the pool plenty of privacy, and the position means you get enough sun but not too much. Most days there were as many as six manatees in the canal right next to the pool, as well as a pair of ospreys in a tree opposite. No complaints, and would definitely return if the opportunity arises!"
