  • Another Wonderful Stay at C-View

"This was the 5th year in a row that our family has stayed at C-View and we loved coming back. Communication with the owner (Ann) is a pleasure and the contact/property manager on the island (Erin) is always prompt and friendly if little issues come up. We arrived to baked cookies and an assortment of soft drinks, beer and wine in the house. The house is wonderful in terms of location to one of the best beach access points on the island (about 2 blocks away), and we have come to appreciate the beach wagon, beach chairs and beach towels that are provided with the rental. We have stayed at many rental properties on Anna Maria island, but once we stayed here, we have kept coming back. The kitchen is well stocked with quality dishes and cooking utensils, and the mattresses on the beds are comfortable - not always the case in rental properties. The pool is wonderful after a day on the beach and is larger than many of the pools at single-family homes on the island. The pier out back is a great spot to sit in the morning or late day. We had manatee come to visit several times during our stay and we launched our kayak off the pier for nice paddles through the canals. We hope to return again on our next trip to Anna Maria Island."

  • Perfect for Family Gatherings

"I was so lucky to find this vacation rental for a long weekend. My family, which consists of five adults and two boys under the age of three, had a great time staying at Mariner's Landing. The uniquely shaped pool was the highlight of the house, with a very deep end for the adults, and a nearby shade-cover for resting near the shallow end while the kids played. The shape allowed everyone to talk and feel together. Surrounded by lush green and the canal, the house has all windows on that side. I had work to do and sat at the kitchen island and could see the family playing in the pool. There were plenty of pool toys and large towels to use, and a tiled-bathroom on the lanai so you didn't have to dry off or traipse water inside. The house is a one story that is a bit unusual in floor plan/seating arrangements, but it really works for a large family or multiple couples. Our little toddler loved riding his trike around the large kitchen island while we prepared dinner. We had large family dinners around the large table in the kitchen area (avoiding the family heirloom formal dinning area). The furniture was of nice quality, but not too formal, which is perfect with little ones. As others have stated there are plenty of condiments in the house in case you forgot something (which we did), and the grocery is close by the house. My husband and I enjoyed the split floor plan, since the master suite was on the other side of the house from the kids and grand-kids. Everyone said they slept great, good quality beds, and nice-sized rooms. Janice, the owner, is very accommodating and generally wants you to enjoy her home. She has property managers in the area, and they stopped by to make sure everything was well. Our daughter and her family arrived into the area earlier than expected, and Janice allowed them early entry into the house which was so helpful so the boys could nap. We received our deposit, paid in full, in less than a week. If we are ever in the area again we would stay there, but longer and utilize the boat."

  • Any closer and you'd be ON the beach.

"We had a great month in this quaint house. It's so close to the beach we'd walk across the road in our bare feet and right onto the sand, and easily walk to the great shops and restaurants on Bridge St. AMI being so popular, there's always plenty of slow-moving traffic right outside your door, especially late afternoon, although we were there at the busiest possible time, March Break. The few minor repairs that needed doing while we were there were handled quickly and pleasantly. This being an older house, there was some noise from the upstairs neighbors -- best if you can rent the entire house. Overall a very pleasant experience. Also thanks, Martin, for welcoming our black lab, Maggie! Paul J."
