  • Excellent Vacation Home

"We've been staying at this lovely place for five or six years now, and are looking forward to heading back next winter! The house really is open, roomy, well stocked, and very comfortable. Being so close to the water, it's lovely to hear the the waves splash in, and the sunsets are fantastic! My husband loves to fish, and there are lots places he can fish without a boat, and happily, he has friends who have access to boats."

  • Private piece of Heaven!

"We rented this house in August of 2016 for our growing family of 8 adults and one baby. We used all the bedrooms and the downstairs beds, we didn't need to use the den for sleeping. The den space is really very nice and easily could be used for another private bedroom. It was nice to have 4 full bathrooms. The pool was shaded in the afternoon and great if you felt like you got too much sun earlier in the day. The baby monitor that we brought with us reached from the back bedrooms to the pool. The kitchen has recently been remodeled and have nice modern appliances! The full size grill was great for fixing fresh fish! The beach was very private and beautiful! It was wide, with beautiful white sand and shells. The sand was hot in August, but flip flops were adequate, you don't necessarily need water shoes. We brought water shoes but only used them for long walks on the beach. We were excited to see multiple turtle nests, marked to keep humans away! Easy walk to Sanibel to the south, take your shoes so you can walk across the bridge. The water of the gulf was calm with mild waves mostly, we had rain a few days and some stronger waves those days. We still managed to get out of the beach every day. The rain made us miss the sunset a few days, but it is beautiful from this house (no need to go anywhere to view the sunset). There were plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and two umbrellas. I noticed beach toys as well. I brought a few inflatable floats, which were fun in the pool and in the gulf! They don't take up much room in your suitcase. The only thing I wish I had rented was maybe another umbrella or two or a beach tent of some kind, because in August the sun is pretty strong. It was cloudy the beginning of the week and once it got sunny we just took turns under the umbrellas. If you have multiple children you may need more beach toys, but there are some there. The house is a little difficult to find, the sign is very small with the house name and there is no indication of house number at the street. Watch the other house numbers to find it. This was a wonderful house and we all intend to come back in a few years! When we come back we want to stay here again (which is unusual for us)!"

  • Great beach house

"We rented this house for a wedding, mid week, the breezeway was perfect for all the set up. This was my daughters wedding, Nancy was so accommodating with all our questions, I would like to thank her for sharing her lovely home . The house is much bigger than it appears in the pictures. We are looking forward to coming back next year."

  • Peaceful and relaxing

"We stayed mid June and enjoyed a good location away from the centre of Fort Myers beach, but within a short tram or taxi ride to the main areas of the town. Facilities in the home were great, all mod cons are available and the home is clean and neat. The living area is comfortable and welcoming and due to some not so good weather, for the first time we had rented a home in Florida, we used it a lot and felt comfortable and cosy. The wrap around seating area outside is absolutely perfect for eating breakfast or reading a book and the views towards the bay are much better than the pictures portray. This made my holiday. When it began to thunder, all the birds flew over from the bay over the house and this was lovely. Squirrels run around outside the lanai and birds sit on the roof, so it's a nature lovers paradise here! Wi fi worked really well and was welcomed ( bad weather!!) and there are books in the case if you run out. Taxi service into town if needed, is efficient and very affordable, but if you want a 5 minute walk to see the sunset with a cocktail or beer, try the Outrigger tiki bar just across the main road at the end of the street. For eats, try Charley's boathouse right at the end of the street or Pincers crab shack which is around 10 minutes walk. Publix supermarket is a 5 minute car ride away and behind that is a great place to hire a boat for a day at the marina at a decent price. All in all a great stay and we had a lovely time."
