  • Loved it! Great Get away.

"Great porch overlooking lake. Good size yard to play corn hole/can jam etc. Dock needs repair. Several splinters needed to be dug out after walking on it barefoot. Bring your own chairs for the dock and floats for the water. Great neighbors who helped us out during a thunderstorm:)"

  • Peaceful and Away from it All!

"This was a wonderful home to use as our home base as we explored the Florida Panhandle, Southern Georgia, and Southern Alabama. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 in this wonderfully clean and stocked home. Sleeping arrangements include - King bed in the Master, Queen bed in 2nd bedroom, 2 double beds in 3rd bedroom, bonus area off of Master with a single over a double bunk, and a sleeper couch in living room. There are 2 bathrooms - Master with a shower and other with tub/shower. The kitchen, living room, dining area, and sunroom are all open concept, making the home very spacious. The home sits on a great part of Seminole Lake and has a covered dock with 2 boat slips, swing, room to place chairs, and rod holders. The boat ramp is right down the road. We didn't bass fish, which this area is well known for, but did catch some bream and catfish from the dock. We also saw 2 gators, several turtles, and lots of different kinds of birds. The swing is a wonderful place to sit and relax. The home is equipped with dish network and wifi, if you don't want to get away from it all. Bainbridge and Donalsonville are your nearest towns and are about 20 minutes away. There are a couple of little minute marts and a Dollar General right down the road, but for major shopping you will need to go to one of the towns. The house was well stocked - you just need to bring your personal items and food. The Tabbs were excellent to work with and were quick to respond to text or email if we had a question. We stayed for 9 wonderful relaxing days. If we wanted to just rest and relax, we stayed right there at the house. Other days we set out to explore the 3 states around. Thanks to the Tabbs for sharing their wonderful home! Trips: Florida = Three Rivers State Park (25 minutes away); Florida Caverns (45 minutes); Falling Waters State Park (1 hour 15 minutes); Seacrest Wolf Preserve (1 1/2 hours); St. Andrews State Park (2 1/2 hours) Georgia = Seminole State Park (10 minutes); Basin Park - Bainbridge (20 minutes); Providence Canyon "Little Grand Canyon" State Park (2 hours); Florence Marina State Park (right down the road from the Canyon) Alabama = town of Eufala (about 30 minutes from the Canyon) - check out the Superior Pecans shop, great iced coffee"

  • Quiet location and Character to Spare

"We found this property on Cuscowilla a nice fit for our trip. The views across the 13th green are wonderful and framed by hanging vines. As promised the upstairs bedroom worked great for a pack-n-play and offered some seclusion for the littlest one of our group. However, we did find a good number of cobwebs and that the jetted tub was not functioning. I think this was due to a circuit being blown as the vanity outlets also did not function in the master bath. All easy things to fix and wouldn't keep us from renting again. The description is correct in that 3 couples could use the house. But practically only one of those couples is going to be able to have children as the bunk room is attached directly off the 2nd floor bedroom. However, a pack in play could also be setup in the office if the baby was a heavy sleeper. We enjoyed our stay, the area golfing (Cuscowilla is probably the nicest course in the area and probably the most expensive as well), the water and the shopping in nearby Greensboro. The pool is great for families but will cost you an extra $5 per person for each visit. It's our understanding that the club does not always collect this fee, but for our visit we had to pay each day. I think this home could also make a great winter location with the fireplaces and hot tub. So don't rule it out for a cold weather getaway."

  • Nice condo, clean, well appointed and very convenient to UGA and downtown Athens.

"Great condo in Stadium Village. Charlie was very helpful providing information about the facilities, all of which worked without a flaw. The condo it-selskap was very clean, well appointed with plenty of towels, kitchen equipment and a great Samsung smart TV, and the location is exactly what you think it is, super convenient to UGA and downtown Athens."
