  • Fun @ Charm on the Lake

"Absolutely stunning, this house was drop dead gorgeous. From the second floor, dining room, kitchen w/bar area and balcony to the first floor living room area, open bar and backyard. The Jacuzzi was very relaxing on the cold winter GA night and the bedding for the rooms were so comfortable. Dan was extremely personable and very easy to speak with, he made sure my guests and I were as comfortable as humanly possible. I would've given the property four stars however there wasn't much signal in the area and the wifi wasn't that great. However, if you're looking for a getaway from people, problems and drama this is the location to stay. Merry Christmas and I hope you guys get to have the amazing experience my guests and I received at this property."

  • Thanksgiving Stay

"Enjoyed our stay through the Thanksgiving holidays. The house was comfortable and well equipped for our needs. The lake was low due to recent drought; however, we were still able to enjoy the water. The fire pit was a great feature and we used it every night. The only issue (wasn't owner's fault) was the next door neighbors dog never stopped barking for 3 days. Trying to enjoy the fire pit and serenity of the evening lake atmosphere was somewhat over-shadowed by the barking. We could not hear the dog while inside the house so was only a nuisance while outside. As previously stated it wasn't owner's fault and the overall stay was 5 stars."

  • Beautiful, clean, spacious!

"We stayed at this home for two weeks, and it was plenty of space for our family of 9. The home is beautiful, clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The lake views from inside the home and from the deck are incredible. We enjoyed swimming, boating, and fishing. Couldn't have asked for a better time, and hope we can return sometime in the future!"

  • Better than home

"TL;DR Perfect place. STAY HERE. Once upon a time a big handful of cousins felt the need to gather for a non-funeral weekend. Our fathers have all passed on and now we had to step up and plan our own damn family reunion. There has never been a better warm, safe, comfortable space than 326 Mourning Dove Ct. We were 5 to 55 years old and we were all happy. Bunk beds or king size beds, still happy. The early risers sipped coffee on the dock and watched the sun come up. The night owls skinny dipped under the full moon. The teenagers ate the s'mores ingredients around the fire pit because making them would take too much energy. The cooks were ecstatic with all the implements and dishes and vital cooking things in the kitchen. (as you can tell, the author is an eater, not a cooker) The beds were beautifully dressed and mine was as comfortable and enfolding as I absolutely needed it to be. And the stars in the trees brought gasps of surprise from every age! OK, focus on the space! The weekend gathering was so welcome and the house was not just perfectly situated, it was beautifully decorated without demanding any kind of interpretation. Loved the Matisse shelf in the kitchen. LOVED IT! The porch rockers, the pool table in a room full of windows. This was both open and inviting. Opening all the doors onto the back porch let the dogs and the 5 year olds skitter in an out in circles that wore them out, delighting the adults. The teenagers were grateful for that fire pit sitting area that was half way up and half way down to the lake. Everything about the house made everyone either squeal or sigh with gratitude. It's a great place for coming together without squishing too close. I will make my way back here from Louisville, KY. I'll bring fewer teenagers and toddlers, but I will be back. The same goes for my family from Woodstock, McDonough, and Albany. We brunched at The Whistle Stop Cafe. We all gathered in the spacious, open kitchen to sing a group happy birthday and feast on the low country boil that Michael poured out on the tall kitchen table! Again, lots of squeals, this time from the hungry and grateful among us! (like me!) Thank you, Daniel, for this amazing opportunity that almost didn't happen! You've done a good thing making this home available. So incredibly grateful!"
