  • Fantastic Setting... Expansive Deck... Exceptionally Clean Home

"My wife and I had a brief weekend, quiet birthday celebration stay 'On the Lake and In the Woods'. Maybe the most impressive part of the weekend occurred before we ever arrived, with the owner offering great communication on the best rout to go, what to do, what to expect, as well as working extra hard to ensure internet access that required new equipment to be installed before we arrived. The home was super clean with everything that's needed for an enjoyable stay, plus back-ups/extras just in case. Best part of the home and stay... the incredible deck overlooking a beautiful, peaceful lake... all wrapped in chirping birds and crisp fall air. Just wish we could have stayed longer!"

  • Perfect home for a Family Reunion!!

"We have been gathering in Reynolds Plantation for for a family reunion the past 14 years. Neil's Fort was the Perfect home for this years gathering of 12-22 people from ages 8 to 84. The home was spotless. The kitchen very well stocked. The many decks, large kitchen/family room, theater and cove/dock were backdrops for memories that will long be cherished. The manager Nancy is very attentive and organized. EXCELLENT!!"

  • Fantastic Thanksgiving weekend stay!

"Noeleen was terrific with accommodating our needs both to get our dates reserved as well as prepping the house for our stay. This place is really perfect for families like mine with boys who need space to roam. The basketball court slab was perfect for a good game of 4 on 4! The field had a perfect amount of area for a good wiffle ball game. The house accommodations were more than sufficient to lounge and watch some football all weekend long. The sleep setup was pretty much "take your pick" where you want to sleep... with plenty of bed choices. Even though the water had receded quite a bit from the dock, the sandy beach out to the water was dry enough to walk out to and cast a line into the lake. We look forward to getting back down to the country again! It was much needed - away from the hustle and bustle of Washington DC traffic craziness to enjoy the quiet of this relaxing spot on the lake!"
