  • A wonderful place to vacation

"Our family of 12 (6 adults, 4 children 9 to 15 years old and 2 toddlers) recently completed a wonderful 4 night, 5 day stay at Reynolds MilliLago House. The location was extraordinary. Being in Reynolds Plantation it is just a relatively short distance off of Rt 20 and had access to terrific recreational amenities both in the Plantation and near it. We did horseback riding, pontoon boat fishing and water skiing/tubing along with, of course, swimming in the lake off of MilliLago’s dock. Additionally the home was about 3 miles from a Publix, CVS and gas stations; and there was an ample selection of very good, reasonably priced restaurants within 15 minutes of the house. Beyond the general location, the home itself was nestled among the trees, was right on the lake with easy access to it and easily accommodated the 12 of us. Both the upstairs and downstairs were quite spacious, clean, well maintained and well-appointed with the ample space to congregate as a family. The kitchen was also quite adequate to handle a large group. Lastly, the owner was very responsive to questions and issues that arose from the initial booking through the end of our stay. When we return to Lake Oconee we definitely plan on staying here again and would recommend it to friends."

  • Quiet location and Character to Spare

"We found this property on Cuscowilla a nice fit for our trip. The views across the 13th green are wonderful and framed by hanging vines. As promised the upstairs bedroom worked great for a pack-n-play and offered some seclusion for the littlest one of our group. However, we did find a good number of cobwebs and that the jetted tub was not functioning. I think this was due to a circuit being blown as the vanity outlets also did not function in the master bath. All easy things to fix and wouldn't keep us from renting again. The description is correct in that 3 couples could use the house. But practically only one of those couples is going to be able to have children as the bunk room is attached directly off the 2nd floor bedroom. However, a pack in play could also be setup in the office if the baby was a heavy sleeper. We enjoyed our stay, the area golfing (Cuscowilla is probably the nicest course in the area and probably the most expensive as well), the water and the shopping in nearby Greensboro. The pool is great for families but will cost you an extra $5 per person for each visit. It's our understanding that the club does not always collect this fee, but for our visit we had to pay each day. I think this home could also make a great winter location with the fireplaces and hot tub. So don't rule it out for a cold weather getaway."

  • The Real Deal

"We stayed in this special condo a few days before the Masters and it exceeded our overall expectations. Extremely clean, well outfitted and it felt much more like a home than a rental. Ron was extremely responsive and a real pleasure to work with. I recommend it with no reservations and the golf course is excellent as well. We hope to be back."
