  • Incredible place. There place has everything you could ever need.

"My family and I had an incredible visit and hope to comeback next year. Even though we could not use your boat with the lake levels, we still had a blast. By the way, catfish we caught off the dock was 10lbs and good eating. Thanks again."

  • Spa weekend at lake

"I rented this beautiful home for my daughters and I to have a weekend together. We can all fly easily to Atlanta so we headed there and wanted a great place out of the city with spa amenities close by. This house is soooooo nice. Inviting, comfortable and peaceful. All bedrooms were spacious with wonderful mattresses and linens. Can't really say enough about how nice the house was.....definitely 5 star. One of the best things was the communication from the owners. It just made everything that much easier and relaxing. We went to the ritz Carlton for their spa. Very nice and would recommend it. Make sure you give enough time to use the fitness center and other amenities with your spa appointment. We were there for 8 hours or so. Weekend we picked was quiet for the area and it did get a bit colder than we had planned. But I loved watching the golfers and a few boats on the lake. The steam coming off of the lake on our last morning made for some great photos. I see myself coming back with some golfing couples.....the house is so nice for that. All four couples will have great bedrooms."

  • Loved the villa, loved the community, loved the owners! They're a class act.

"The lake views are breathtaking. Quiet and peaceful community, great for long walk and hikes. Everywhere you look is the perfect picture spot. Deer sightings daily. Easy access to grocery shopping, restaurants, and antique stores. Yesterday's had best buttermilk pie on the planet. Villa was immaculate, comfortable, and beautiful."

  • Beautiful property with plenty of peace and quiet!!

"Martha's farm is gorgeous and there are several places to explore! The community reading room and the hangout/multipurpose/dining/art area were awesome with plenty of space to relax, lay in a hammock, or play the drums! The farm kitchen is adorable, the "Farmuseum" is interesting, and the old buildings are mysterious! We had an awesome bonfire, we walked along the trails, and we went to the lake with Martha's lake pass! We had such a relaxing time and we appreciate her generous hospitality. If you drive, we recommend an SUV because the hills can test your alignment a little bit! Don't drive on the old logging trail! We decided to explore down there and we got our truck stuck in the mud but Martha and her daughter helped us get out of it! If you're looking for a rugged agricultural experience without any outside distractions, this is the place. We recommend bringing easy to make food and your own bath products! Also bring extra clothes because it can get chilly at night but it's worth it for the fabulous star view. We would definitely stay again!"
