  • A Terrific Home on Lake Sinclari

"When family decided they could come for a visit, we immediately looked at VRBO for a rental home on Lake Sinclair. We were very impressed with the home. It is very close to 441 where you can find Jen's Bakery and Kroger. The home was immaculate, and it had more amenities than we usually find...such as charcoal for the grill and an ice chest to take on the pontoon boat. Freda guided us to her neighbor who rents pontoons and jet skis, so we had a wonderful time boating on the lake. Freda was so conscientious about answering my emails and questions. I felt like I was a pest with the numerous inquiries, but she graciously helped us with our family's visit. She even put new white sand for our little almost 2 and 4-year-old great-nieces. I certainly would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be on the lake. Since we also live in Milledgeville, I can recommend restaurants that we enjoy: Lieu's Peking, Longhorn, Aubry Lanes, Little Tokyo, and El Taquila. Try the hamburgers at Jen's Bakery; she's nearly within walking distance. Our favorite activities for visitors include the Historic Trolley Tour, Flannery O'Connor's Andalusia Farm, the Flannery O'Connor Room in the Georgia College Library, the Old Governor's Mansion, The Old Capital Museum, and driving down Liberty Street to see the antebellum homes. Thank you, Freda, for making our family reunion so pleasant."

  • Wonderful Family Vacation!

"This was our first extended family vacation, and we couldn't have been happier with this lake house. We had a party of 14, and were very comfortable with sleeping arrangements and all accommodations. The two living areas were great for visiting with family, watching cartoons with the kids, or just relaxing. The deck offered a great view of the lake. We went fishing every morning and spent the majority of the day jumping off of the dock and tubing in the quiet cove. We were close enough to Milledgeville to run for errands, but far enough away to enjoy quiet nights on the deck. I would recommend this lake home for anyone looking for a well maintained getaway for relaxation."

  • Comfortable and quiet

"My brothers and I take a fishing vacation every 2 years . This house was comfortable with a great dock. We had a small issue but Roscoe Douglas was right there to correct the problem. The fishing wasn't great but we had a terrific time. Craig H."

  • Perfect Peaceful Family Vacation

"We had a wonderful week-long stay at this gorgeous property. The house is beautiful and so comfortable with everything guests could possibly need. My husband and teenagers really enjoyed the huge tv and surround sound with all the movie channels. The views of the lake especially at sunrise and sunset are truly breathtaking. Lots of relaxing hours were spent soaking in the views on the well maintained dock and wrap around porch. We were able to launch our boat in the neighborhood right down the street from the house and keep it docked at the house all week. The adjoining jet ski dock worked perfectly with our stand up paddleboards which the quiet cove is perfect for! The owner was a gracious host who was friendly and quick to answer any questions. This was just the relaxing vacation we needed to take a break from very hectic lives. We hope to visit again soon!"
